Can we change the way we evaluate coaches for once and give it more than one year before we crown a coach the latest genius? We've done it time and again, only to be proven wrong. (Schiano and one great year at Rutgers anyone?)
Aranda may turn out to be the next Saban. Or he may not be. I'm reserving judgement until at least a few years. But his defense? Before he came to Baylor he was the DC at LSU. Check out how much that defense improved over his few years there. Or digressed.
work. that thing that gets in way of stuff I like to do.Thanks, comrade. Work is crazy busy but I just hired a backfill for the financial analyst role I had open so hopefully it will level out a little over the next couple of months.

Have a couple of friends who've retired already, one is 43 other 44. I jokingly say Id like to retire also, to which reply is 'what would you do?'

All well and good on wait and see, but this is about two of your BODING WELL argument bullet points going faceplant in the same post. Are you PRETENDING otherwise?
Hey you can pretend like you had CJH at the top of your list, but the first week after he was hired was not exactly a bright week around here.
That being said I was and still am in “wait and see” mode with him. A lot of positives so far and if he and Banks can get the defense to be at least serviceable I’ll be fully on board for him as a long term solution.
What the heck did they do to be able to retire that early in life?work. that thing that gets in way of stuff I like to do.

And I didn’t form that conclusion myself…just agree with it. Writers and analysts who cover the team overwhelmingly concur. At one point, Brian Daboll was the favorite. That’s slipped somewhat as the season progressed.No. Despite Bienemy deserving a chance, as Butchna and I discussed earlier in the thread, Chicago isn't going to hire another KC OC after just firing one. Nagy was KC's OC before taking the Bears job.
