Then people will just want a 16 team playoff. Then a 20 team. It won’t end because it’s impossible to please everyone.
I think Sankey doesn't want it and the other P5 commissioner can't get organized enough in order to mount a united opposition against Sankey. Expanded playoff is only way to dilute Status Quo same 4 teams.

What if Chuck Webb never gets hurt?

What if Fulmer takes the Arkansas job?

What if Heath Shuler stays for his Sr. season? ((Manning redshirts?)

What if Jerry Colquitt never gets hurt?

What if Tennessee blocks Alex Brown in 1999?

What if Rohan Davey doesn't get hurt in 2001?

What if UT holds off LSU in the 2007 SEC title game? (Does that give Fulmer more time?)

What if...UT hires a different coach going all the way back to the hiring of Dave Clawson over Mike DeBord? Gary Patterson or Brian Kelly instead of Kiffin? Kippy Brown as an interim over Dooley? Charlie Strong instead of Butch? Mike Leach over Pruitt? (I'd say it's too soon to say someone over Heupel)

What if Rod Wilks was given his choice of starting positions the moment he stepped foot on campus?

What if Gerald Williams got into UT the first time?

This is fun. I hope some other answers come in.

What if Kentucky had agreed to pay Pat $200 to help her move to Lexington?

That Mitchell WR from Georgia story is crazy...not because Pruitt is a dumbass but because Georgia wins its first national championship in 4 decades and major media is running a story with big orange laced all in it. If that doesn't show you how big of a fanbase this sleeping giant has then I don't know what does.

The guy that wrote it is Big T, who went to Tennessee and works for Barstool.

I'll give it to Big T, he represents for Tennessee and has gotten some of the other personalities at Barstool to look favorably upon UT, which is more than I can say for what anyone else has done for this program in the social media era.

the championship game being on a Monday night is so stupid.

I would be curious to see though. I don't think that Saturday night primetime is the best time slot. People do things on Saturday nights. That is why you see better games at the ESPN noon slot than at the 7:30 slot.

I think I saw 20 million watched the Cowboys-Eagles on Saturday night, and the NFL is generally watched more, especially with the Cowboys.

Alright, you guys that said UGA winning would be the worst thing ever are right.

2 days in and their fans are just getting started, but they're already the worst.
They’ve always been the worst, now they have some hardware to back it up. FML. I was in a meeting this morning and someone uttered a “go dawgs” and three people (two of them being ladies) started barking. I’m surprised I was physiologically able to bring my eyes back to a normal position after how hard and high I rolled them.

I was gonna say...the Barstool guys seem to love UT. The whole Coach Duggs thing that Big Kat did was great marketing. Not for altruistic reasons; they know UT has a big online presence particularly on Twitter, but UT does not get any "let's point and laugh at them" treatment from Barstool.
