With an improved defense, I think we can beat anyone on our schedule. Whether or not that happens is another story. We'll see what happens.

Did you know we didn’t bring any recruits in for the Bowling Green game? There is no reason to announce that to the world. Competitors can estimate your current scholarships and know how to recruit kids. Keep them guessing. I see no reason to announce it. It will come out after the fact.

Umm you don’t think this happens? There’s plenty of ways to show interest in a player without talking to them directly/tampering. Parents, former coaches, former teammates, other intermediaries, etc. This isn’t a game anymore; it’s a billion dollar business.

They are called agents.
NIL has ended the agent prohibition in college ball.
Can't have players getting big dollars and deny representation.
IMHO the NCAA will not even try to fight it in the courts.
Soon the recruiting (high school and portal) for all top level talent will be handled by agents.
Truth be told, it is now.
