Has anyone had "life changing" effects from using a CPAP? The last two years or so I haven't felt right. Literally have no energy and want to nap constantly at 27 years old. I stopped going to the gym due to lack of energy which hasn't helped my overall health resulting in fatty liver and high BP. I had a sleep lab study done this past week and they diagnosed OSA and want me to do another study with a CPAP. They seem like a pain and I'm skeptical that it will make me feel that much better. Wanted to get people's thoughts on if they will really make a difference for me.
I got one last year and i wish I would have gotten a sleep study a lot sooner. It makes a huge difference in your quality of sleep which in turn improves your quality of life. Go get one. It is worth it.

My father swears by his cpap machine l cant personally vouch but he loves his.

I got worLdle in two today.
Impressive! Those 3 countries (today's answer and its 2 neighbors) always get me - as far as getting them mixed up geographically. But I've come to memorize them as NSF. Aaand of course I still guessed the 2 wrong ones first 😆

Also lost the other day, so my streak is back to 2 😔

Lol if you don’t think Trooper is a good coach and can’t help a really young WR Corp that needs a veteran then feel free to think that way and be proved wrong in the event that he would be hired. I doubt we would go down that road but I’d be all for it. The man still has plenty of connections nationwide. I’m just not sure if they would let him be hired with his past issue in SEC at Auburn
Lol most knowledgeable football fans understand trooper isn’t what he once was…

I just bumped into @SweetasSoda, she’s still plugging along. She is a sweet one!

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate you keeping us posted about SaS. She's definitely missed but having an idea what's been going on and getting the impression of improvement has really helped.
A sincere thanks, VO.

Suzanne Summers was quite the dish for a while.

Never been big on blondes, but can't argue with this.

I think my first ever real crush was Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island. I remember it being a show the grandparents & my parents would watch reruns of often. Good lord Dawn Wells in those shorts o_O

Reading up on Galloway at UNC and I would have him at the top of wish list as WR coach. Familiar with uptempo. Been under some really good offensive minds in spread with Rich Rod, Petrino, Longo. NC raised and an area we need to strike on some guys

Wondering if Billy Gonzalez is available...did Napier retain him?

Guy can recruit with the best....and has been around the South awhile..

When I first heard it, Howard knocked him out with a haymaker after being called a racial slur while the assistant grabbed him by the collar so the Wiscy coach could pummel him.

😅
I fully confess to scrolling but was lost on the heart of the argument.
1st thought there was a disagreement over if Howard was in the wrong but then realized everyone believes that he was. Then, maybe a debate over what "nth" his wrongness fell, on the umm..scale of wrongness. Now, I'm just thinking the off season is full swing.

May we all make it thru with friendships and health in good shape, lol.

He is, and Napier didn't keep him on staff. I actually mentioned his name a few days back when the news broke. His son is over at Western Carolina too so Knoxville would be close to him.

I was just started on CPAP in January. My wife no longer threatens to kill me for snoring all night long. No, seriously. I do feel better in the mornings. I think I sleep better because I am not waking myself up multiple times per night. The new CPAP machines are very quiet and simple. I would give it a shot.

Changed my mom's life. My grandfather (dad's side) also uses one. I've been needing to schedule a sleep study to get one. I have the same problem, feel awful every morning. Always tired. Sore throat from snoring. Sometimes get woken up because I'm choking, which is classic Sleep Apnea.

So yeah, it wouldn't hurt to at least try it and see the results. It could save your life and/or vastly improve your day to day life. You spend a third of your life sleeping. If you're sleeping like sh*t then the other 2/3rds are gonna feel like sh*t.

I tried an APAP for several months and didn't feel anymore refreshed (though they said my 'score' improved dramatically). Since, I've been experimenting with different devices such as iNAP2 and BLEEP. I believe you'll get different results based on your specific physiology. For me, the mask didn't work (I'm a mouth breather) and an APAP can adjust pressure at any change which impacts sleep. So, works well for many but not all. My search continues.

Agree with others.

Made a huge difference to me. I used to miss work days because I was so insanely tired I would fall asleep. Then I got one about 3.5 years ago...problem solved.

As others said, they're quiet and comfortable for the most part. Try to get a nose-only. Which you'll be able to get unless you have an extreme case.
