And yet everyone said Bama was dead for years and never coming back or competing with the elites. It’s all about who you hire. NIL should actually help us though.

You would hope so but this is just another thing for the UTAD to bungle. I’m sure Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, etc have entire teams of people looking for every available opportunity and loophole to gain an edge. I sure hope we are as well but don’t picture us taking it as seriously.

Did y’all see that there is a rumor going around that we are “WEARING ALL BLACKS WITH BLACK HELMETS” at some point this year !?! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I hope so. We have to take this path along with milking the NIL if we are to return to relevancy. We have no juice right now and need a spark. If that means fun uniforms then so be it.

Hey, y'all...hope no one has killed anyone else since last Saturday! I've been on a roller coaster with my hubby. After Labor Day trying unsuccessfully to quit drinking, he used a vacation day for Tuesday then missed Wednesday, too. Wednesday night he prayed for salvation. Went to work Thursday. They fired him Friday because he sent a message instead of calling. He has done it before so they were just tired of the missing. So he had to drink Friday after a struggle. He called someone Monday and had an interview Tuesday and starts Monday. They are working so much OT he won't have time to drink. God has put the ball in his court. I would appreciate prayers for both of us. I am exhausted. I don't even like roller coasters. @nicksjuzunk could you give me the website again please? He may be ready to listen now.

Love you all! Can't even think about football right now though.
Sending love and prayers. Really hope he finds the path to sobriety for all of your sake.

@Bassmaster_Vol , i think my buddy is able to put a lot of his stuff in boutiques and shops like that and then they have a deal on what he makes off the sale? I will find out more info for you later when I’m off work

My dad always had a huge issue with it although he was still a good dad to us during that time….. when I turned 18….. he got saved and still to this day has never taken another drink…. It truly was amazing.

That's where it happens - at the Cross. Lives change forever. The shackles of sin are opened and we are free.

This disease is a killer and a non-respecter of persons. Like virtually everybody, it has affected family and friends. Some experienced release when they submitted their lives to the Lord as long term believers or for the first time. A few did not and are still battling. One close family member has been like a yo-yo with for about 30 years, a close friend died because of it, a fellow church member who cannot seem to get over it and so on. We offer prayers to the Lord for all who are dealing with it.

I keep posting it to get people to rethink how this works going forward. The old way ended. Heup/UT know the new way. Will see how it goes.

Sorry to hear this! Praying for the both of you..

Seriously @VOLSONLY , hope your procedure goes well. On the bright side you're about to get your best hour's sleep you've had in bit.

It really is. I remember waking up with the wife beside me and she said all I would say as I was coming out was, "this is so good." Haven't been that relaxed and restful in many years. It took them a long time to get me out of there.
