To be honest, Joyce makes me nervous. He’s fun to watch, but at times, he has no idea where it’s going.

If he doesn’t know where it’s going, imagine being in the batter’s shoes.

He makes me less nervous for the simple fact most kids at this level don’t have the bat speed to even get around on him, much less hit his movement.

We are trying to make baseball and football equal. We have been on a historical baseball ride this season. The amount of sweeps we have had is amazing. However, most of our fans are football fans where losing one game can change your season. They need to educate themselves on the sport before they run their mouths about the sport.

Got that covered. Been watching UT BB games for years. He’s a good pitcher and loyal Vol but this team is on a different level. Perform the eye test.

This team is on a different level because he's a fantastic closer. The "eye test" means nothing. He wins games. Look at the stats.

I will take it but our pitching has been off both games. We haven’t walked batters all season and suddenly we cant Find the plate. Solo bombs won’t kill you but 3 run shots will.

I'm not a baseball expert. But it looked like a good Auburn team made things difficult for a very good Tennessee team, kept it within reach, then made a clutch play to get the win. They aren't the first team this season to be in that position. They're just the first team to make the clutch play when it mattered - something we normall do and almost did again in the 9th. That's not worth nitpicking our own guys or coaches over. That's sports. That's baseball. That's why its a 3 game series.
