Eat, eat, eat…Do the oysters at the Darling Oyster Bar on King Street.

Shrimp and grits at Amen Street or Magnolias. Amen Street was I believe founded by an executive chef from the Orangery in Knoxville.

Drinks at Prohibition or any place on King are solid.

It’s tough to get a bad meal in Charleston so take your time indoors eating and drinking. An amazing place to enjoy those delights.

Drive down rainbow row and through the battery. Also, you can go visit Boone Plantation or any other places that are loaded with history.

That used to be a fairly common way for disagreements between young boys/men to be settled. Somebody won, somebody lost and most of the time nobody ended up in the morgue or hospital or the courtroom. Usually nobody got fired from their job or kicked out of school. It wasn't fair from the perspective of the loser (I wound up on that end a couple of times) but it was efficient and low cost and relatively painless for society.

Can y’all keep my father in your prayers. He went in for a kidney stone and they have found a mass (unrelated to the kidney stone) and he has an appointment to find out more information. I don’t know the location of the mass but am still freaked out about it (he decided not to tell me until an hour before his appointment this morning).

The best way to find out about a mass like that is before it lets you know that it’s there.
