Who where or what the heck is a J Boog?! Sounds like some new fangled drug the kids are taking right out of their own noses.

He does sing a lot about weed 😅 honestly surprised @InVOLuntary was listening to him.

He’s an island reggae singer/rapper. He’s huge in Hawaii and West coast. Worked with a few Polynesians in the Navy and they would blast island reggae in the shop while we worked from time to time, I got hooked.

Big fan of J Boog. Reminds me of living in San Diego.
I like several of h is songs. I use YouTube music and I ask it to play Polynesian island music. Needless to say J Boog pops up a lot. That island music always puts me into a good mood. Not a fan of ganja farmer. Not because of the lyrics just don't like the song. There are several groups on there I like.

Are you saying I'm not hip?

Bottom line when YOU try and link a youtube video, you screw it up. No else has this problem. Maybe take a night class.
Seems like you're the only one that had the problem.

They'll put up good numbers against us on offense jbh. We'll need to outscore them which shouldn't be that difficult.
He's never been a HC and especially has never called an offense without a crazy talent advantage vs lowly ACC defenses.

We turned a defense respectably ranked 100-110th in 2020 under Pruitt to 55th-65th last year. Guess we'll see how big (or small) the Y1 to Y2 jump is, but feel pretty confident it will keep improving by 2023 with the talent we're recruiting.

It really is a feel good genre. Most people associate reggae overall with ska reggae and that’s just not what you find in Polynesian countries at all. Polynesian style reggae has a lot of R&B and Motown influence mixed with traditional Polynesian instruments underneath. Its slower than ska reggae and really relaxing.

You may have already heard of some of these artists if you’re listening to YouTube Music radio stations and playlists for Polynesian reggae, but if you haven’t check these out. Big Mountain, Fiji, Beres Hammand, Common Kings, Rebel Souljahz, and SDIB. Those are some of my personal favorites.

Ill dig on some Chilldish Gambino or Mos Def or Run The Jewels but Im more a Pink Floyd, MMJ, the Black Keys, Dawes kinda stoner, brah.
Mos doesn't get enough respect. His stuff was on another level (similar to Common) when it came to socially conscious rap. Not just bling, b******, and a benz. Lot like Childish and RTJ. I prefer that style. The glamour stuff talking about materialist crap gets old quickly.

It’s just not well known on the east coast at all. I’ve introduced it to so many of my friends here and they all love it now, but had never heard much like it until I showed them. They all had a much different view of Reggae music.

Then, yes, add in the fact that you’re older than the Grand Canyon and yeah, I was a little surprised 😬
