We need to start going undefeated against mid level OOC programs before we start scheduling top teams again. We've had some poor luck with scheduling middle tier programs such as the first BYU game and the Pitt game last year
Agree. Please let us have a couple 10 win seasons before we schedule another Oregon or Oklahoma-style game. Until then, and as long as teams like UK schedule absolute garbage, I'm all for just getting wins. Apparently people focus on that more than who they actually played/didn't play, same as Clemson. We might as well "play the game" until we have 2 steady feet.

Article seems to insinuate they didn’t want to play two SEC games as they also enter first ever BigXII conference sked. So screw that. They scheduled the Arky game we shouldn’t be on the hook for that. Also, they deserve a butt whooping. Remember Alontae having bad game that night.
Oklahoma didn’t have to “meet contractual obligations”. Not sure why we alway do the one-sided standup thing.

It’s just not well known on the east coast at all. I’ve introduced it to so many of my friends here and they all love it now, but had never heard much like it until I showed them. They all had a much different view of Reggae music.

Then, yes, add in the fact that you’re older than the Grand Canyon and yeah, I was a little surprised 😬

We need to matter in the middle of the state.

What I mean is we don’t need to “take the show on the road” like Barnum and Bailey to expose ourselves to Middle Tennessee. We can saturate the market with social media, billboards, we have private jets, FaceTime…. this game won’t do anything for local HS recruits IMO. Our coaches can’t even “bump” into someone while here… ask Willie Martinez 🫤.

It’s not even really “on the road” tho. If we were giving up a scheduled game at Neyland, then I wouldn’t even post a disagreement on this one…still wouldn’t mind. But virtual proximity to the game > billboards and Twitter…just is.

Edit: And WE don’t do the “bumping” anymore. Got people for that. 😏
