I mean, you bought it at, I am guessing, to close to what it is selling for in the golf shops. That seems like a lot of money for a putter, to me. I don't golf, though, so maybe it's a bargain.
Camerons are nice, but overrated.
Tons of tour players use them, but they are all custom built for them specifically.

Sometimes there are so many that I can't handle them all.

Hooker's 2021 Ole Miss game was Dobbs' 2015 Florida game. Left it all out there and should have won, proved toughness and leadership.

You guys think Hooker takes this play to the house?

I was there with my now wife. Probably the closest I'll ever get to seeing a win in the Swamp personally. I can't believe that idiot blamed a chart for not going for 2.

No, Dobbs has more "breakaway" speed. Hooker would've had a nice gain though. Hooker also wouldn't have had that tiptoe AstroDobbs touchdown where he turned the busted play into a TD.

That said, there's plays and throws Hooker made last year that I think Dobbs would've missed on. They're both great QBs with slightly different skillsets, but as of right now I'd still say Dobbs is better. Eager to see what Hooker does this year though.

I agree. You can see on that play that as soon as Dobbs catches it, he's at top speed in 2-3 steps.

Dobbs had 671 rush yards in 2015 and 831(!) in 2016.
Hendon had 616 rush yards last year.

2015 Josh Dobbs: 205/344 (59.6%) for 2291 yards, 15 TD. 146 Rush Att for 671 yards, 11 TD, 1 rec 58 yd TD. 3020 Total Yards, 27 total TD.

2016 Josh Dobbs: 225/357 (63%) for 2946 yards, 27 TD. 150 Rush Att for 831 yards, 12 TD, 1 rec 4 yd TD. 3781 Total Yards, 40 total TD.

2021 Hendon Hooker: 206/303 (68%) for 2945 yards, 31 TD. 166 Rush Att for 616 yards, 5 TD. 3561 Total Yards, 36 total TD.

Hooker did all that with 1.5 less games under his belt, in a brand new system that the entire offense was learning. With a lesser roster.

Will 2022 Hooker beat 2016 Josh Dobbs total yards and TDs from scrimmage? If so, where does that rank Hooker and Dobbs in your Tennessee QB overall rankings? Both top 10?

Does Hooker have to have signature wins like 2016 UF and UGA?

Just taking a quick glance at standings for the SEC tournament. The seeding is still clearly up in the air for a lot of places.

Vols clearly #1.

Texas A&M and Arkansas are battling for the 2-seed. Arkansas is at Alabama and A&M is at Ole Miss this weekend. Both of those opponents are battling for seeding as well, but it looks like Mizzou and Miss State are all but eliminated from the tournament at this point.

For the 4 and 5 seeds, they will be in our side of the bracket, it's totally up in the air. Right now its Auburn at 4 and Vandy at 5, but Georgia and LSU could jump them this weekend. Auburn plays at Kentucky, Vandy hosts LSU (the winner of that series is a safe bet to be the 4 or 5 seed), and Georgia hosts Mizzou. Georgia is sitting in a good spot. Auburn has a 1 game lead on the other three, so they have the advantage but Kentucky knows they're playing for a spot in the tournament.

We also get the 8, 9, and 12 seed in our bracket. Currently that's Florida, Ole Miss, and Kentucky. But Florida and Ole Miss are only 2 games behind Auburn for the 4 seed... that's how tight the bottleneck is in the middle of the league. 8 and 9 could be them, or it could be LSU and Georgia for all we know.

Last two teams in appear to be Alabama and Kentucky with only 10 wins.

If you've read this far you probably realized, as I have, that looking into this was a fruitless effort and total waste of time.

I don’t consider beating UF a signature win this year, we have no business losing to them at home

I dunno man, we've found ways to lose to some PRETTY AVERAGE to TERRIBLE Florida teams.

2007 they embarrassed us even though we won the division.
2010 they were not good and beat us.
2011 they were not good and beat us.
2012 we were supposed to show them what was up at home and they came in and beat us.
2013 they were god awful and beat us
2014 they were terrible and beat us at home in a game that seemingly neither team wanted to win.
2015 Butch found a way to lose.
2016 Butch was busy finding a way to lose until his players had enough and won it on their own (thank you to Dobbs, Jennings, Hurd)
2017 Butch found a way to lose, and they were god awful.
2018 and 2019 they spanked us.
2020 we finally got to play them late in the season, like we've always wanted, and they beat us.
2021 they were TERRIBLE and smoked us.

but sure, beating Florida is no big deal.

They were not terrible starting out the year… the fell apart towards the end

You are who you are. We have continuously failed to expose them or play to the level that we should to beat them. Their bad teams always end up getting exposed.

It cannot be true that year after year, through 6 different coaching staffs, that we have the misfortune of starting slow while Florida always starts strong, and we're just a victim of circumstance.
