Have you talked to the hospital social worker that was assigned to your case? Sometimes they are invaluable in helping with the medical side.

Our hospital has a required amount of community care dollars each year that we prefer to use with our patients in need. If it isn’t used, then we write a check for the unused amount to a charity of our choice. We prefer to use it with our patients, but it’s good either way. I would check if your hospital has that requirement.

Ask for your medical records. Find out why they brought in 6 different specialties. If it’s at the UT hospital, it’s probably because it’s a teaching hospital. You can challenge each specialty as to whether they were needed or not.

How long were you in the hospital? I don’t want to get personal, but if you want to send me an email, I will be happy to provide any help sorting things out to decrease your monetary obligations…

No Weezer, don’t need anymore newdz…😐
You are a good man. Old, yes, very, but also, good.

Yep...the Harlan county fair is called "The Poke Sallet Festival"...people up here love the stuff. I asked what ot was like, and they all say "it just tastes like greens", to which I always reply..."Then why don't you just go the store and buy some cheap greens and leave all that dumb work out?"
I think it mostly allows them to hearken back to those halcyon days of their youth.

After 30 years of inconsistent putting, I went to a fairly heavy Adams mallet putter. The weight usually prevents me from getting too wristy, which is when I miss left or right.

I also do "spot" putting like Trevino used to do; aim for a spot that's on the line I want, instead of aiming at the hole.
I thought it said Adams mullet the first time I read it. I had a really snappy response prepared. Carry on.

Greeneville, right?

He wasn't highly rated (presumably because he was from a small town/classification), but that staff loved his ability.
Before Cut saw the value of TE’s in the passing game. Rare instances he’d divert from that and Peyton would carve up the opposing defense with Moore.

I was beginning to wonder about the actual southern-ness of this board.
I know, I know........We just call it Polk, if you are Southern that has to be one of two things...........A SACK or SALLET !!!!

The Seeker –

For anyone who is unfamiliar with this let me try to explain.

The Seeker from Monarc Sport is a major update to the Jugs machine and more. It is said that the Jugs machine is a 50 year old technology and the developers of the Seeker thought it was time for an updated model. It’s basically a robotic QB and Punter. It’s pretty sophisticated. It can make any pass on the route tree up to a distance of 75 yards anywhere on the field. It can hit a target with pinpoint accuracy. It uses ultra wideband to track a receiver (who has a tag clipped to his waist).

The premise behind the technology is it allows pass catchers, pass defenders, and punt returners to work out on their own solo without having to always coordinate with other teammates. It’s not intended to replace teamwork only to allow extra individual work when teammates may not be available..

For pass catchers set the machine for whatever route you want to work on. You can set the distance, the arc, time to throw, hang time, and where you want the ball. If you want to work on jump balls, no problem. If you want to work on catching low throws, no problem. You can set the seeker to throw to your right or left, or to your right, high, or to your right low, or just to hit you in the chest, etc. It’s pretty neat.

Again, the benefit is it allows kids to get in extra work on their own and work of a specific nature. There are a few videos on YouTube for anyone interested in learning more about the product. Just search for Monarc The Seeker.

The product is relatively new but is beginning to take off at all levels of football, NFL, College, and High School. LSU and Tennessee are early adopters from the SEC.

In the video clip posted yesterday of RJ Perry working on his OT leverage (body leverage and hand leverage) it was said that he was in the lab. A lot of the guys are said to be avid film students but it seems there are also guys working out when they can above and beyond their normal training, trying to improve on various aspects of their play. The Seeker is another tool the staff has invested in to give the guys increasing support as the kids chase their dreams. jmo.

One of the great things about being Southern is our accent's. People in Tennessee really have three. East, West and Middle all say things a little different. I was i n Detroit one time and the bar tender asked where I was from and I kinda smart a$$y said New York and she said "Nope your from around Nashville and I was stunned a little. She said she fancied herself an accent expert and could tell not only that I was from Tennessee but Nashville just by the way I said certain words.

On that same note a guy from Boston was working on a TVA job I was on and he was talking. He said "I can't understand why when you guys come up North everyone wants to hear you talk and when people from the North comes South nobody wants to hear him talk." When at the same time 10 guys said "SHUT UP" in unison......it was GREAT !!!!

I have a bag full of putters, none of them work. A few Scottys , flat black Spider… all of them garbage or maybe it’s my green reading skills

I used the Odyssey White Hot Rossie for a long time. But it is more of a square to square mallet type putter. It was fine with my former upright, full swing. But when I went rotational on the full swing, I found it also changed my putting stroke and I am too dumb to use one method to swing and another method to putt.

Turns out I'm a better arc style putter. So the toe hung Spider was perfect for me.

Green reading can be tricky. But usually it is so much of the other stuff messing it up - grip pressure, unwanted wrist action, committing to the line, etc.
