That’s why it makes me shake my head when everyone wants to change things when we struggle a little bit….. we are ahead of the curve on a lot of the training for both pitching and hitting…. It is showing on the field……A lot of our fans wanted to bench Luc when he struggled a little bit…. He is second on the team in homers….. has a 1.149 OPS and has a .471 OB%…. Unreal season by him. This stat is absolutely unbelievable and unheard of. Holy moley.
Keep shaking your head. If you're talking about me, all I said was we need to have the ability to manufacture runs in low scoring games when the ball is NOT going to leave the yard. That’s why it makes me shake my head when everyone wants to change things when we struggle a little bit….. we are ahead of the curve on a lot of the training for both pitching and hitting…. I think State's slightly larger field played a hand in more runs. Would've had 2 more home runs in Lindsey Nelson, though.
But we were able to put more runners on base hitting the gaps.
As much as I've heard my State friends talk about how small our field is and how big Dudy Noble is, they're not THAT much different in playing field size. I don't get it. Especially with how short right field is in Dudy Noble. It's a one of a kind stadium though. For baseball lovers, its a must-see.
Lindsey Nelson:
LF - 320
LCF - 360
CF - 390
RCF - 350
RF - 320
Dudy Noble:

LCF - 376

RCF - 374
RF - 305
I wasn’t talking about any individual poster…. I’m here when fans always want to start playing small ball when we struggle a little bit…. I agree there are times when we may want to manufacture a run late if it’s close( SB…. Bunt… start the runner) Early in the games…. We need to keep the same approach that we have taken all season.Keep shaking your head. And Luc was in a bad slump and leaving umpteen runners on base.
Were probably more and when the place was logged they left the ones you have as a boundary marker.@SoilVol
I found a blackjack oak (two) growing on one of my properties with no older trees on the property.
How is that even possible? The trees are on a boundary line with nothing but hay field on one side. (West)

Yes…. Luc was in a slump….. a lot of times…. Players have to play their way out of slumps… That’s how I win fantasy baseball…. Someone always cuts a stud player that struggled during April.
It was great to meet you too!Almost as many fireworks above the hill as there were in Starkville let the graduation events begin.
Good to meet @mykidturnedmeintoaVOL turns out our kids are friends.View attachment 456693
Ok, so I'm not trying to be a spelling Nazi but this was too perfect to pass up since your spelling means taint....and they certainly are a bunch of taints that win the SECW nearly every year.
