Sankey didn't say anything to reprimand Saban after his comments. At least not publicly where it should've been said.

You think if Dorkowitz at Mizzou had publicly said what Saban said the Commish wouldn't have issued a public statement by the end of the day?

Sankey had a whole day to address Saban's statement and did nothing. He didn't act until Jimbo came out unloading on him.

It's like the set of a Western bar. Without warning, Saban smashes a bottle over Jimbo's head at the bar for winning the fair lass they were both fighting for. Sankey, the bar owner, keeps drying glasses like Sam Malone. Says nothing. Jimbo smashes a chair over Saban and puts out his cigar on his face, Kiffin giggles, and THEN Sankey says "Woah hold up!! Enough! How dare you do that! I'm calling the sheriff and you're all spending a day in the cell!" As he points to the other bar-goers. The rest of the SEC head coaches.

I know we used to have a GIF of Rick Barnes in a Tom and Jerry GIF spanking Calipari, but I feel like we need a generic one of Tony Vitello just whipping the SEC. Any creative people in here able to pull that one off? Or heck - maybe even an entire NCAA one with the tournament coming up.

Of all the VN conspiracies I think I get a kick out of "SEC offices are in Birmingham so they must be Bama plants" the most. Are they biased to all teams by geographic distance? Like does Auburn get the second most corrupt bias and Mizzou get hosed the worst?

The hilarity of these coaches saying recruiting shouldn’t have anything to do with money never ends. These coaches still don’t get it. Name one industry where the employee isn’t allowed to decide which job to take, based on money being offered. I mean if they want to make other things more important than money, that is their choice, but most coaches base which school to coach at, largely on money. I’ve made some job decisions on money, and some based on other things I considered valuable, but it was my decision.

Don’t get me wrong, I will miss the old school days of college football, but the cat is out of the bag and coaches that want to control how much a player makes while at the same time making 10 mil per year, is hypocrisy at its finest.

I wasn’t talking about any individual poster…. I’m here when fans always want to start playing small ball when we struggle a little bit…. I agree there are times when we may want to manufacture a run late if it’s close( SB…. Bunt… start the runner) Early in the games…. We need to keep the same approach that we have taken all season.

Yes…. Luc was in a slump….. a lot of times…. Players have to play their way out of slumps… That’s how I win fantasy baseball…. Someone always cuts a stud player that struggled during April.
I wasn't wanting Luc "benched" really...all I said was a day off might help him.

They have their pets. Bama is one, and we are not. A blind squirrel can see that.

Proximity cant hurt. End of story.

That's not really what people say. It's more of the fact that they are in a community with Alabama fans, graduates, students, coaches, players, etc. They go to church with them, they go to school with them, they attend social gatherings with them. So they are influenced by them. If they give their friends/community's favorite program the death penalty, they still will attend school, church, and gatherings with them and those people may not be too happy. I know football is not everything to everyone, so that's where the point is up for debate to me. You could get into officiating, but all up for debate how much that influences a bias for Alabama. Clearly they have an officiating bias in their favor. Is that because they're just damn good or because the SEC office is in Birmingham?

Going under the knife in the morning. My nose is, anyway. I'm having my Mohs procedure. The small scar story will definitely be spun to be the result of a knife fight at Waffle House with @nicksjuzunk. And @StoVol , I hope you're happy because when I started to type Waffle, if you look closely you can see that one of the suggested words is Wafflestomp. Seriously though, would appreciate some good vibes tomorrow.

Sports is not a normal business. There is a good reason that the NFL has a draft and salary caps.

Sports is supposed to be a fair competition. I just want fair competition whatever it takes to achieve that.

If not...then it is nothing more than an exhibition...a garbage f'n joke

But what if we start dominating the garbage f’n joke? If so, I will swear it’s legit
