After you check out the bio on Coach Duane Ross I have something to add to the story that wasn’t included in the bio.

2021 National Coach of the Year Duane Ross Appointed to Lead Tennessee Track & Field Program - University of Tennessee Athletics

It was the end of May and the beginning of June in 1995 and Sophomore Peyton Manning and his teammates were ramping up summer workout programs as they prepared for fall camp and what would be an 11-1 season ending with a victory over No. 4 Ohio State New Year’s Day 1996. (Tennessee had beaten #12 Alabama 41-14 at Legion Field on the Third Saturday in October earlier in the year).

But back to those late spring days in 1995.

The University of Tennessee at Knoxville was playing host for the NCAA outdoor track championships. A young kid from Clemson took first place in the preliminary run for the 110 meter hurdles (13:45). Later as the games continued he would finish first in the first heat for the 110 meter hurdles (13:48). In the finals he would score gold in the 110 meter hurdles (13:32). That kid’s name was Duane Ross.

Welcome back to Rocky Top Coach Ross and GBO.

Just because he is manning doesn’t mean he will be good…the kid is slow in the pocket wherever he goes he will need a good oline blocking for him plus the competition he plays against is really bad

When you're in the pocket you're 40 time doesn't matter. Was the competition bad when Eli and Peyton played there?

Feels like '95.

No actually they played better competition back in the day also Peyton and Eli threw for over 30 TD’s during the season Arch only managed 26 TD’s in 10 games…he is a top 7 QB not a number 1 talent

The biggest problem with police is that the good cops far too often protect the idiots amongst them and fail to police themselves. It's the blue wall.
Not sure I agree with that. But if it’s true, by job description I don’t think you can really call them good cops.

Wouldn't that also mean he has less talent around him?

nlovu is a troll from the FF. Please do not reply to his posts. He will use the chance to post as many hateful comments as he can.

I saw him in an FF Nico thread. A Vols fan said "we've got the best QB for '23." nlovu said: "The best QB won't be known until a few years from now."

Now he's over here saying that Manning is better than Nico. "If they get Manning Tn will have no chance to beat them" and "There are 5 stars and then there are Mannings."

Earlier he was in FF threads about Saban paying players, telling lies and denying everything there. Etc.

Iamaleava it right here: If nlovu wants to mouth off, he can mouth off to DN.

Seriously, why would they do that? Why burn all those bridges. Those were his brothers for most of his career. Now that he is taking the money and running, his family is going to treat the players and the staff that helped develop him like that? Lame af.
That was my thought. Piss on that little turd.

SMH...I like the guy we have better for what we need. As far as being a Manning goes..Eli was a good QB, but he was no transcendent talent. There is no indication other than his NAME that Arch is going to be anything great.

If he goes to a team like UGA though, as stacked as they are...good is all he has to be.
