The requirement of understanding that talking about a prospect we have no interest in and the potential of him going to Georgia would be better served in the actual recruit thread or on another board…

How would you have no interest in a player that may go to a main rival and make it much more difficult to beat them? This is the recruiting board which is what I'm discussing.

What doesn’t makes sense is the point you are trying to make…Georgia is difficult every year and pretty much an L on our schedule for the past ten years what makes them getting another 5 star QB change the fact they were already a tough out?

rooting for the 3-6-6 model, by the way. Seems like the best, and the one that would allow us to play the most conference opponents, and get some new scenery.

Whatever happens, I just hope they don't try to hold neutral site games in Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, New Orleans, Nashville, Charlotte. I'm ok with rotating the SEC Championship, especially if we do end up implementing our own playoff. But I want to go see other campuses, and I want to host more fanbases.

This makes sense to me. Glad DW is on the scene. What do y'all think?

They're difficult due to the players they have and if they get an elite guy at QB they will be more difficult. They are beatable currently due to a pedestrian QB.

I saw him in an FF Nico thread. A Vols fan said "we've got the best QB for '23." nlovu said: "The best QB won't be known until a few years from now."

A lot of y'all have offered prayers and support if I need it and I'm really thankful for that. I will know what I need to do on June 7. I'll let you all know what I find out. At the very least, it's great to have a place and people to talk to about it.

After you check out the bio on Coach Duane Ross I have something to add to the story that wasn’t included in the bio.

2021 National Coach of the Year Duane Ross Appointed to Lead Tennessee Track & Field Program - University of Tennessee Athletics

It was the end of May and the beginning of June in 1995 and Sophomore Peyton Manning and his teammates were ramping up summer workout programs as they prepared for fall camp and what would be an 11-1 season ending with a victory over No. 4 Ohio State New Year’s Day 1996. (Tennessee had beaten #12 Alabama 41-14 at Legion Field on the Third Saturday in October earlier in the year).

But back to those late spring days in 1995.

The University of Tennessee at Knoxville was playing host for the NCAA outdoor track championships. A young kid from Clemson took first place in the preliminary run for the 110 meter hurdles (13:45). Later as the games continued he would finish first in the first heat for the 110 meter hurdles (13:48). In the finals he would score gold in the 110 meter hurdles (13:32). That kid’s name was Duane Ross.

Saying the best QB won't be known until years from now is as true statement.
I'm saying Manning would be a nightmare at Georgia because he is good QB. I never said anything about who is better since no one will know who is better until a couple of years from now. If I had a choice I would take Manning.

I replied to the Saban thread with more info than what was given and didn't deny anything or tell lies. If all you want to read is sunshine pumpers then you can avoid my comments and read how Nico is Patrick Mahomes 2, Saban has paid every player, etc. and feel better while ignoring anything that doesn't fill you with reassurance, whether it is real or not. I prefer reality.

Lol, sunshine pumpers. I am a proud sunshine pumper because that is what most fans are. If you want to make sure you recognize me, I will be the dude in the orange colored glasses.

I'm doing everything I can to avoid that. I may have to ask for help. I hate that thought, because it means I couldn't do it. But also, knowing you guys could potentially save me gives me a lot of hope for the future. If we tried and couldn't do it, that hope would be gone.
