We actually outscored them by 2 runs. We outplayed them overall, but those last few runs killed us this game.

No drew in Game 1...and not having the best pitching coach in America. ND hadn't scored more than 5 runs in a game in months 🤣 No coincidence.

Sadly ND won't even make the final series.

That's baseball with a silly format (non-MLB 7 game series).
We gave up 7 or more runs in 4 of our past 6 games….. that’s not playing winning baseball.

They flicked someone off, threatening the very fabric of the sacred game of baseball!

The same guys love Kenny Powers and Steve Austin, but whatever.
Mic the field at NFL games. Ban sound from the scoreboard and stadium speakers. Ban TV announcers. Just mic the field, including non-amplified crowd noise from field level, and let's roll.

Ratings won't match the CWS what the NCAA and ESPN are thinking and they'll stupidly scratch their head and ask why
That’s actually a really interesting thing to see how it plays out. Subtract TN’s oversized fan base, and those who hated us so passionately, and who’s tuning in to the CWS this year? I bet the ratings are pretty meh.

When you search for trash you find it. I come here for UT info and let the media and social media types say what they want. I don’t see it or help them get the clicks they crave.
You're talking to air on my screen. Just saying. I appreciate your remark.

If any of you guys are ever in Yellowstone during the snowmelt period in May-June, this little spot is amazing and worth seeing.

This little pond called Isa Lake is a two ocean lake...water that flows out of the west end (counterintuitively) empties into the Firehole river just before it gets to the Old Faithful basin on it's way to the Madison which then eventually merges with other rivers to become the mighty Missouri on its long trek across the nation to meet the mighty Mississippi which empties into the Gulf of Mexico.

The water that overflows out of the east end in the spring goes down into Shoshone lake which drains into Lewis lake which drains via the Lewis river as it flows down a few miles to meet the Snake river which has its headwaters in the high mountains of southeast Yellowstone...the Snake of course flows westward to empty into the mighty Columbia on its way to the great Pacific.

That blew my mind as I witnessed this happen back in June 2011..how just a nudge in one direction or the other...maybe by minute amounts of wind or gravity, or the rumbling of vehicles on the Grand loop road could alter the droplets of water into destinations 2,700 miles from each other across a continent.

Tennessee haters, you got your wish: Party’s over for college baseball’s bad boys

Too bad for everyone, but college baseball’s bad boys are here to stay.
I promise you Omaha viewing/watching will not be what it would have been had the been there. Been away from baseball a while since my son played college and was around it for 40 plus yrs coaching, playing and teaching. These guys MADE me watch again and was fun as hell. Nothing but more to come and we will get there. I hope the best for these guys and they will have lots of great things to recap when they all get together again.

No respect for the game. Man, I just wish people would try to learn a little about these young men before they try to run them into the ground. Special team, special men, special memories.
Yeah..the downside to being hated is now upon us. The odds that the legion of assholes were going to get the last laugh were always high and they knew it, and were just waiting on it.

I am pretty sure the program gets back to the playoffs, we will be a force from here on, but we will never see another team this insanely talented and dominant again. Whether or not it ever gets counted as one, this is one of the greatest CBB teams of all time...those don't happen often.
