There’s no need getting upset about Kanell et al. We leaned into playing heel of college baseball and we did it as well as any team ever has. Of course most of college baseball media is going to revel in our exit. There’s really only one way to become that hated in sports: excel. Just gotta take the lumps and pity them that we’ll be back next year.

Except that he’s not baseball media, and he played for one of the most hated (except Miami) programs in football. He’s just looking for clicks.

Thank you Toney V for an awesome baseball year! I never cared about UT baseball until you made it fun again and winning again. Baseball is so difficult to stay on top for so long. Its a grind and wears on your mind and body. I really don't care what other schools are saying because we would be doing the same thing if it was us beating the number one team. I am just glad we are hated again because we were so good instead of being made fun of because we were so bad. lol Heck man I went to Bear Trace in Harrison and hit two buckets of balls and walked 9 holes. Got two bridies but also four bogies. lol On to football!! Thank you basketball and baseball for helping us get through winter and Spring. Now its time for recruiting and Fall practice!!

Agree. While Nicos talent level is insane, banking on a true FR QB coming in here and killing it is a bit much. I would much rather him redshirt.

They wanted them to fail.

The only way to show that the UT way worked was to win. Otherwise the haters would have the fuel needed.

I don’t see any way he redshirts. He is too good. And he will be here in December with 8 months to be fully ready as well.

Being really good in HS is one thing. Coming to the SEC and being really good is another. I just don’t think he will start immediately and I honestly hope he redshirts.
