Why though? We won the first SEC Tournament title in over 4 decades in basketball and first one in over 2 decades in baseball!

This is the best couple years UT has had in awhile, and the future in football looks brighter than ever.

We cooled off at the wrong time. Doesn't take anything away from what an amazing team we got to watch and follow this year. They fought hard for each other, for their coach, for their school, and for their fans. They were fun to watch and I hope they hold their heads high as they deal with the hurt from this loss. They have much to be proud of and have a great foundation for future years. There is obviously a tremendous culture of brotherhood that they will carry with them for years to come. I count myself priveleged to have been able to be even a tiny part of this season. Go BaseVols!

There’s no need getting upset about Kanell et al. We leaned into playing heel of college baseball and we did it as well as any team ever has. Of course most of college baseball media is going to revel in our exit. There’s really only one way to become that hated in sports: excel. Just gotta take the lumps and pity them that we’ll be back next year.

Yep. I think ND is actually a pretty good example of what could happen: heartbreak the year before hardening an already talented team to further success. This team excelled with zero preseason expectations. Put a chip on their shoulder and see what happens 👀

My great grandmother is there in spirit. You'd rather wrastle a bear than deal with a Hangry Great Grandmother Crevol.

She had her choice of any restaurant in Greater Orlando. And it was always Denny's. 2nd Generation German Immigrant hailing from Coal Fields of depression era Coeburn.

Tougher than a ten penny nail.
