I see where we have fallen off a little bit on the recruiting side of things, what did we expect. We are going after the best and for a change over the past few years the best are listening. Be it because of the NIL deals or whatever but they are listening and EVERBODY else is watching to see how we are using the NIL in or favor and that method will be copied and or improved upon by EVERBODY.

So with that being said I really think this year is HUGE for not only the football team but UT in general. We have been abused by every form of media out there and kids listen, maybe not just to the media but the coaches from the other team going after the same kid just repeat the same media talking points. We have got to get back into the CONVERSATION and this is our chance in football. I'm not talking about winning the National Championship this year but beating a team or two that could would do wonders.

It's hard to tell a high school kid that the Vols are losers when that year they kicked your team in the teeth and that is what we have to do. I think CJH has a plan and I believe it will work but we cannot waste the chances when we get them. We have got to be ultra competitive in Sports across the board and we have got to make UT the teams everybody wants to be a part of again.

True story, I have seen the Stud Squirrel of all Stud Squirrels. I was at work and me and my buddy were riding around the site and he slammed on the brakes and said check that out.....a squirrel.....a male squirrel......walking across a gravel road ........on his tip toes......to elevate.......you get it. He was a Manly squirrel to say the least.......and cautious.

Really I'm auditioning for a Sports Talk Radio show host. I'm learning to take partial info and speculation and tuning it into a dire situation for the fans of whatever team I lost money betting on last week. How am I doing ? This could really turn into something big like a BLOG whatever
that is.

I’ve had the same yard shoes since I was in high school.

Did it help? Impact on the golf game? I've been putting off surgery since I've got 4 and they've told me they'll have to approach it through the abdomen. Been doing ablation, TENS and meds but kinda worry about what the surgery will do to my activities which includes golf.

I've been a Merrell guy for about 20 years myself, I've had good pairs and not so good ones, but overall have been happy with them. I wouldn't give up on them just because you got one bad pair. When that has happened to me, I just get a different set and use the other ones for working in the yard and getting trashed. Good luck

Merrill Moab 2
No break in period at all.
Treated my feet much better than more expensive boots.

Hiked 80 miles with a 50+ lb pack. Only people without blisters had on Merrill boots.

Y’all are tuff or hard headed I was very much in the club. Always had good insurance but never took time for myself, well after three total knee replacements, one inverse shoulder replmt, lower back fussion and the obligatory stenosis. Ah just being a

So I had something kind of funny happened to me yesterday but it made me feel old. My wife asked me to run by Walmart after I got off work and pick up a few things that we needed. I ran by the house and changed but forgot to use the bathroom. I hadn't peed all day since I woke up in the morning and had been drinking coffee, water, Gatorade and and Mountain Dew to deal with the heat. I noticed that I had to use the bathroom a little bit when I was in Walmart but just figured I would check out and go home first.

I got out to the car and loaded everything up and put my cart in the blue area they go in. All of a sudden the feeling came back and hit me like a freight train that I had to go and I had to go now. I started to take a step back towards Walmart and immediately felt like I was going to pee myself. I had to open my car doors and then get down on one knee and pee in the parking lot while praying that nobody that was parked close to me came out with their stuff to get in their car. I'm about 6'2 so my head was poking up over the car door windows where people could see. It was like a full minute go but felt like an hour.

The whole time I was thinking that I'm about to get the cops called on me and I have the magnet for my job on the side of my car door so I'm going to get fired too. I still had gravel from the parking lot embedded in my right knee when I get home but at least I didn't scar any small children for life or go to jail. But if given the choice of leaving a puddle in the seat of my car or giving a stranger a show then I'd make the same decision again. I turn 40 next month and this is one of the first times I've genuinely felt like I'm getting old while also officially feeling like a Floridian.
