I haven’t had this much fun reading recruit threads in a long time. Coaching turnover, Heupel’s 50+ point scheme with leftovers, and the portal has made me more meh lately on the importance of recruiting HS athletes.

But the roller coaster ride of the past week is a blast, especially when you win more than you lose.

If they really want super conferences, there needs to be 4, and they need to be somewhat regional. Southeast, Southwest, Northeast, and Northwest. But I doubt that favors the money, so it won't happen.

There simply aren't enough decent programs in the Northwest to carry a conference. Barely enough in the Southwest.

UNC wants the SEC, VT does also. Hearing UVa wants big10. And I live here in SWVA I'm hearing a lot.

I'm hearing VT fans want to stay in the ACC and run the show when other's jump ship.

But they have a history of moving around. SoCon, Independent for 25 years, Big East, then ACC.

If they really want super conferences, there needs to be 4, and they need to be somewhat regional. Southeast, Southwest, Northeast, and Northwest. But I doubt that favors the money, so it won't happen.

Would have to be just West, Midwest/North, South/Southeast, and Atlantic or something. Basically merge the Big12 and Pac12 and keep the rest. Add new teams to ACC.

Simply not enough quality programs in the west to divide it. Too many in the East, will have to have overlapping territory (ex: Clemson in Atlantic, So Car in Southeast)

Yep. Was really good. Beaufort SC has a shrimp shack too. No AC, just basically a screened in porch with fans. Really good though.

Yup ….. on the way to Fripp Island, right cross the street from an awesome fish market - Gays. Been to both and they are excellent. Gays is where the shrimp boat scenes on Forrest Gump were filmed.

was there last week. got the black grouper.

Honestly wasnt 100% sure the grouper hadnt been frozen and rethawed. still good.

Ate at the Laughing Frog. Got the flounder. Picked up tab for everyone (in that moment where you reach for tab, see it, and then your stomach drops and you want to move it back to the center of the table).

You wouldnt think there is an economic recession by that number. Business is good for restaurants.

Wasnt thrilled by any of the food we ate. Granted it's Fripp, best beach around.
