I’d rather have Iamaleava than Manning, but Manning is likely more college ready at this point in time. Nico has the higher ceiling though I think
The only thing you could base Manning's readiness on is an assumption that he's further along mentally than other QBs because he's a Manning. Maybe he's got more football knowledge about schemes and defenses because he's really motivated and studies a lot of football...maybe not. We don't know that. What we do know is that he plays against pretty weak competition compared to someone like Nico. From the standpoint of being able to hit the field in college and not be overwhelmed by the speed of the game, I would say Nico is more college ready just because he's been challenged more by much better competition.

Fwiw he didn't rank that highly (#3, #4 etc) by PFF itself. They watch each play and imo will see past some schematic advantages Heupel offers everyone on the offense. Also look at things QBR does not (sacks, throwaways, misses, actual accuracy, etc).

Same reason Heupel can scheme up insane offenses, Hooker be #3 in QBR, but it didn't mean Hooker was top-half draft ready last year either.

For UT fans it's sort of a moot point because we do, in fact, have Heupel's offense scheming things up regardless. So we'll get the production anyway. But Hooker certainly has major room to improve in not taking sacks (one of the big things he was knocked for) and missing fewer deep shots. But we'll produce bigtime regardless.

That makes sense and I could definitely see where the stats I quoted don't tie out to how they might grade a player. That said, I have trouble believing any sort of objective player grading would support those 22 players being listed ahead of him. Slovis, for instance, threw 11 TDs to 8 picks last year with 7.2 ypa. If their grading system has him over Hooker it has to be broken. Same goes for listing all 3 LSU QBs ahead of him.

Seems like this is more of a subjective prediction for 2022 and they're just dumping on Hooker.

Why Hilton Head?

Have never been there, it's in between Savannah and Charleston (two places we want to day visit for this vacation), have also been told it's not as crowded or touristy as other beaches in SC.

We like going to different beaches as much as possible. Was originally going to Virginia Beach, but it's colder there in early October than it is here!

If you had both qbs on your roster right now, who would you start, Manning or Iamaleava?
Nico by a mile. He is a perfect fit for our team. He is going to be a great qb but also has the personality we need and worked his butt off trying to build something here. That being said, Manning has access to people with experience and was raised to do this. He is just doing his thing, out of the spotlight, and will probably have a great career.

The Vacation Company | Luxury Hilton Head Vacation Rentals

Used them many times. Reputable and units we have rented have been clean and in good order.

Have stayed in several plantations and outside of them. Sea Pines and Palmetto Dunes are the best locations inside plantations IMO. South end near Coligny is the best for non-plantation.

This is who we went with, great price too for our stay. Got a spot at the Shoreline Resort 3rd floor with a view of the beach
