I noticed 24/7 has us losing to SC........really, these clowns at ANY sports service are the same as the radio talk show host. They set at a bar and punch the keys on a computer and put down their OPINION. At the end of the year when they are WRONG they make Bowl Predictions.............. GREAT work if you can get it.

That is because they are still on Rattler's jock. Pretty sure they projected him as a number one overall pick in the draft early this year, pre-season last year.
Probably still hope he's the second coming so they can say they were right. Just a year late.
But he alone can't overcome that dearth of talent in the armpit of the South.

Have never been there, it's in between Savannah and Charleston (two places we want to day visit for this vacation), have also been told it's not as crowded or touristy as other beaches in SC.

We like going to different beaches as much as possible. Was originally going to Virginia Beach, but it's colder there in early October than it is here!

It’s definitely touristy. That’s really all it is. Classier than the dirty Myrtle. But it’s all tourist. No one really lives there. Still will be a great vaca. Only an hour or so from Savannah and not too far from Charleston either. Boat day trips to some islands like dafuskie can be fun. They do live music or did before covid out there.

I don't like the author, but he could be onto something here. IDK if he'd be a three star, but a perfect grade 5*? No Way!

Take Arch Manning and change nothing about him or where he plays. Then change his name to Fornello Humperdink, of the Baton Rouge Humperdinks.. . . maybe a 4*
If Nico's last name was Manning he would be the first 6 star recruit.

I’d take a 9-3 season in a heartbeat.. would rather lose to Pittsburgh again than I would USCe to get there. At least we wouldn’t hear much talk about it that way

We’re probably favored in 9/12 games this season anyway heading into it. 8-4 9-3 probably the general expectation from the public. Hopefully we can hammer down Florida and snipe off Bama or Georgia. Preferably Bama since it’s at home this season

You're damn right the Manning name means something they've produced 3 Heisman candidates and 2 super bowl champions. And with most things their experience and the family pedigree immediately makes you think the next generation will be better.

Just like Lebron's son gets a lot of buzz in his rating/recruitment. You come from good stock and you have a different sort of chip on your shoulder that most people don't get. I don't for a second think Arch or Bronny aren't talented though. But the last name they carry got them on the recruiting map sooner than most and exposure is the game when it comes to HS start ratings more than anything else.

I think there's a QB playing HS ball right now that could be better than any 5 star or 4 star in the class, and because of where he plays and what schools have found him we may never see or hear about the kid.
