Jeez
Yeah it's good to mix in the weights with the cardio. I did the same, I was a powerlifter in my youth hated running. Then later in life I took up running and I could see my upper body shrinking. Now I mix it up and found the happy medium.Just caught up on some of the exercise/workout parts of this thread. Started to pick up running at the end of last year and on pace for 1k miles this year. About to hit the 600 mark. I haven't lifted at all though this year and have lost a lot of upper body strength
To play devil’s advocate (for the arch topic only), is it really pathetic if his points are true?Farrell is trying to take the Clay Travis route to notoriety by being controversial and trying to get as many people as possible talking about what he says. I don't disagree with his take on Arch, but he's doing it for views. In the end, he's pretty pathetic and I think everyone sees him for who he is.
Best bad decision you'll ever make.
Not to belabor my previous post, but kettlebell swings are an amazing cardio workout while stille being effective weight and core training.Yeah it's good to mix in the weights with the cardio. I'm gonna keep on the running train to meet my goals this year but definitely going to do more weightlifting next year.Yeah it's good to mix in the weights with the cardio. Depending on your current strength and fitness, I'd say 40 lb kettlebell, 5 sets of 20. Go up or down on weight as needed. Kettlebell snatches are also great to work in for cardio and core. Both are a great leg workout as well.Weight/rep recs?
