The bold would seem to invalidate the entire issue and further delegitimize the entire ruling against the player.

"We DQed you for timing something at a randomized scale."

I don't have any dogs in the hunt, but that dog doesn't seem to hunt.
I'm not seeing your point. What's wrong with your hypothetical quote? Timing the gun is against the rules.

Just because it is random/luck doesn't mean it has to be allowed. If you wait to hear the gun, you won't be DQ'd.

You're claiming it's randomized to the scope at which they are measuring. They're penalizing him/her by claiming it can be timed to the scope at which they measure it. Those two claims are in opposition to one another.

I'll move along.

There's a probability associated with timing anything. I can predict how many fingers you are holding up behind your back too if I'm moderately lucky. It doesn't mean it's "predictable" or not random in some real sense.

I don't accept the premise that because someone timed the shot, the shot wasn't random. The word random being used very loosely in this case.

Fools "predict" random events every day of the week in my line of work lol.

The terms "random" and "timed" have apparently been used loosely to the point of having lost meaning.

But OK. Like I said, no big issue with me. It sounds like a stupid rule, and after doing some reading, it sounds like many in the T&F community feel it should be changed.

Hard to be as great as this season but we are still a stacked team.
This was a once in a lifetime team for literally every program. We will probably never have that high of a winning percentage again...but we will win a title at some point IMO. We should be in the hunt every year as long as TV is here.
