Still not addressing anything in regards to teams faking injuries. Up to the school or conference to investigate/punish when complaints are brought forward. I’m sure schools like Ole Miss and Bama will put in harsh punishments for players faking injuries to slow down an opposing offense

Can’t block below the waist but a defender can.
Taunting will now be a live foul and touchdowns will be taken off the board if they deem you tainted at all
Still ejections for targeting but you can appeal the suspension
More… but these are the ones I think are dumb.
No one tries to target anyone, it shouldn’t be an ejection. Taunting is objective, they could just be running in and the team celebrating before he crosses the line (say a pick six) and they are saying they will take it off the board.

I could see it being an ejection for repeat offenders or egregious actions. But accidental contact during football plays shouldn't be an ejection.

Exactly. One happens, it’s football. But if they do it again then eject them. But to have it an automatic ejection is beyond dumb. Bunch of couch potatoes sitting in a room deciding rules.

So what about service schools and their triple option? And the ejection (targeting rule) is beyond STUPID unless it’s something egregious which is almost never is

I guess I'm just missing something... but I doubt it.

I think the reason Hooker is not getting the love is the "system QB" tag he has been given. And, yes, the system helps. Dude still has to make the reads, make the throws and run the ball. I would not rather have anyone on that list before him except maybe Bryce Young.

Reminds me... several years ago when I was living in Chatt, there was a big storm that came through and I had some roof damage. The claims adjuster came by the house and introduced himself as Charleston Princeton. I'm familiar enough with I-77 to know that those are two prominent signs of civilization as you roll through WV so eventually I had to ask him, so... were you born on the turnpike or something? What's with the name?

Turns out he was from some midwestern place somewhere and had no clue those were two towns that shared a freeway. I didn't get the sense he even knew WV had a Princeton. His name was just a family thing that had nothing to do with WV.

So... just a weird coincidence. Best kind though.
