We had a good run, but looks like we are fizzling out/striking out with remaining recruits on the board... hopefully we can still get Ramil, and a few other solid pickups before the end of the cycle... looks like we are adding some studs, but surprised we haven't landed a top-tier WR or DL... plenty of EDGE but not really any true DT's... Hopefully the portal will be our friend again...

Anyone on the board still that I am missing? Another DT, WR, LB, and CB would hit the spot!
We have no idea who all is actually on the board. New recruits always pop up out of nowhere by signing day. We will have several surprises imo

Probably true, but I know for a fact that my grandmother would climb up a coal car stopped on the train tracks and throw out chunks of coal while 8 month pregnant. No way I could have done that.
Pfft... In today's generation, even a dude could do that while 8 months pregnant.

And somebody probably did it 9 months pregnant with a foot of snow on the ground before her and wasn’t impressed

Every generation has always called the newer generation pansies.. somebody said the same stuff about our grandparents generation decades ago
Probably because society has gotten progressively softer with more pansies for 80 consecutive years.

It's not just talk when you can look at your grandparents life and objectively see things were tougher back then.

Yes I agree--- every year once we get to Nov it seems like several come out of the blue-- hopefully that will be the case again this year!

Yep, but much easier than they were a hundred years before that, and so on…

So with this taunting rule I expect to see every UF touchdown taken off the board when they Gator Chomp. Everyone with me?

I'll never forget seeing a taunting on an opposing player who dared do the Gator Chomp after making a play against them. If one team can do it as a celebration then the other team should also be allowed to do it as a mockery of their celebration....just like horns down.

That's because empires follow a similar trend. They rise from humble beginnings, sacrifice blood, sweat and tears on the way to greatness, then each succeeding generation gets further removed from the mindset needed to survive in a dog eat dog world. Eventually, the empire gets overrun, evolution takes over and the process repeats.

Practically nobody alive in the US now is "tough" by the standards of the people who settled our continent and laid the basis for our now fading empire. We're not more civilized now, just more vulnerable.
