A lot of words from them to say we just need to fix 3rd down defense. That's not the offense's fault.

Portal? Those darn Pruitt legal issues and self imposements sort of got in the way. Guess they don't follow us that closely...

We don't have depth? No kidding. Half the team was swept away after Beldar. It'll take time to build depth, not Heup's fault.

And who is saying we're 3rd in the league? I mean, maybe 4th...🤔🤠

They said it like its a bad thing to put up points. Yeh man how dare we score 40-50 pts a game? those guys are clowns. The coaches have been talking about 3rd down defense all off season too. They know it.

Plus we don't have to be 2021 UGA defense we just have to be pretty decent bc of how we score. Literally 1 or 2 more stops per half last yr would have been major bc we are for sure scoring more points if you give us 2-4 more possessions per game. Now in Cole Cublic's case, his team may have to be the 85 Bears on defense bc they aren't going to score much.

I would phrase it differently but I honestly agree with the general idea. Vols likely aren’t third best team (A&M seems the easy choice there) and yes, they lack the defensive depth to have a truly exceptional season. I think we get between 7 and 9 wins this year, and that’s plenty to keep the momentum.

I think those guys are reacting to crazy fans who think Hendon is a Heisman candidate and any coach who doesn’t go 11-1 in year 2 ain’t the guy. I don’t think very many of those fans exist anymore but I could be wrong.

Hey serious question based off the SEC preseason media poll--- I don't quite understand why so many have KY so high? They have a good QB and a few other skill players (RB), but just not seeing it, what am I missing? I see they have a very easy schedule, is that it? I thought they graduated quite a few linemen...
