Tennessee does not have the recruiting talent in our state to be like some of the others…. It’s a growth process and we are well ahead of where we should be at this time. We have the facilities, closeness to high level recruits, and history to be on top again

Agree with all of this. We fans always want to skip steps on the 🪜. Absolutely nobody at this time last year thought our team would already be this good or that we would be recruiting this good. I used to write down all the names we were in it for and decide who I really wanted us to get. After years of getting very few of them, I decided to quit setting myself up for disappointment and just look at who we get. In recruiting you will always lose more than you get.

*looking back it looks like 1943 was the only season we missed in WWII. Pretty impressive. Didn't let the terrorists win.

Long story alter!! I was at work( Goodyear Union City Tn) listening on my radio. I had several vol fans all around me wanting updates. After the 4th down incomplete pass they all drifted off. I yelled fumble we got the ball. When I called touchdown there must have been 20+ people around me. Needless to say my supervisor wasn’t happy😂
