I guess the common word is turned us down lol. All these coaches didn’t “turn us down”. Sometimes the deal doesn’t make sense and neither side agrees.

I also don't believe Tee would want to work under him.

Mark Packer said on the radio that he felt it was most likely Pruitt but doubted an announcement tonight because of the Lady Vols game and Phil and Bev wouldn't want overshadow that.

No clue if that makes sense, seems like one of our teams is playing basketball every night so whatever.

i do think there's something to the delay in announcing due to Bama wanting him to stay on thru the playoffs, and we want him now.

It's the HC on the line. He needs to hire guys he trusts that are willing to go down with the ship if they don't get it done. Total commitment. It would be great if that could be Tee, but if it's not, so be it. Tee's got a great job and time to wait for the right opportunity for him.
