Virtanen cheap shotted Emelin. PK took offense. Hartnell joined in. It got chippy and that was the aftermath. I’m not sure why PK got the 10 min but it was an absolute cheap shot.

For those concerned about “how it looks” cutting recruits, a coaching transition is the one time that I believe it’s perfectly acceptable from all angles to cut folks loose. All you have to say is they don’t fit in their system or plan. I would especially use that when it comes to oft injured players. One exception is local in state powerhouses. Need to be careful there...

Okay I have been very excited about how everything is going down, our new coach, his staff, that Fulmer is stepping up, the new sudden interest and excitement in elite recruits... but this board pushing aside and not seeming to care about the fact that we have now lost two very good QB"s is very disturbing. Disturbing...
We lost two QBs... we have Dormady, who most likely has peaked, and JG, who is shaky and unsettling at best, and then Mcbride.... Unless we have Lawrence waiting silently in the wings, we are in trouble as of today. AND, I would like to know why we are pushing QB's away?

I think most of us are letting it play out. It sounds very much like Penix was told that he was not best for the new system. I hate that for him because he really seemed like he wanted to come here. I am concerned about Martinez, but we still have a couple months to see who the QBs will or will not be in this class.

Zero. The dude had -39 rushing yards and who knows how many sacks. Even QD and McBride both ended with positive yards. I've never seen a supposedly athletic guy get chased down so much.
