A prerequisite for any QB, especially when O-line protection stinks, is the ability to think quickly. McBride processed what he saw faster than any of them. He just lacked live fire experience. JG has the best overall skillset by far. However, he needs to process what he sees much faster and throw it away if nothing is there. Taking the heavy QB run emphasis off the O scheme should be able to help all 3 of them. Just use it occasionally to throw the D off. Whether our OC called the plays for potential QB runs or not, the scheme was designed to make it look that way, which subjected them to more hits. There are very few to no more Dobbs type QB's out there that could make that scheme look better than it was.
