Possibly already discussed, apologize if so.

Ainge said this morning he isn't confident Dormady comes back making the qb situation even worse.

Most talented team in a number of years. Still have HW as coach, which means no meaningful adjustments when they start playing the elite teams unless Bridgette Gordon can take over at those moments. Texas was overrated (as usual at every sport).

It is good. Dormady gets to go somewhere else and play. Good for him.

It’s good for the team. There’s no QB controversy going into 2018. JG is the guy and will practice as the guy all offseason leading into September.

It’s good for recruiting. Less competition. Come in and immediately be number 2 on the depth chart.

It’s good for everybody.

It’s bad all around.

Never thought I’d see the day that having only 2 QBs is a “good” thing, but here we stand.

I'm also of the same opinion of some others on here, you take at least one QB a year. Need 4 on scholarship. Don't have to go back very far to see we ended up with Dobbs being the man because we had 4, who was the 4th in line his freshman year. Happens frequently all around the country. They get injured, leave to seek more playing time, etc.

We will have at least 3 QB’s in February, probably 4. It’s goodfor Dormady to transfer as well as the team. See my post earlier

Maybe not Lawrence, but Shrout and probably another guy we aren’t talking about. You can try and get out of your dumb argument about having only 2 QBs by attacking me, but dumb argument is still dumb. He will sign at least one and probably 2.

QD is a talented QB. Judging anyone who played under that train wreck of an offense last year is unfair, but as others have said, QB depth is a good thing. I can't see him and JG both staying here though with the way all that stuff was handled last year. Too toxic. He's got ability though.

I am convinced QD is the best fit with Helton. Reminds of Ainge and IMO we can see the same kind of turn around he had when Cut came back.

Do you realize how hard it is to recruit QBs with only a couple of months till signing day?

You either miraculously flip one or you take a warm body. Either way QD would flourish way more in a pro style system IMO. Let the debates!

Each of the QB's has the tools to be successful. There was just no coaching up or direction given by the previous staff and the protection from the line was as bad as could be. I'll choose a wait and see attitude with each of the existing QB's. They each have potential to be very successful or horrible.

Yes I’m dumb for wanting more than 2 QBs on the roster.

I’ll look forward to your next panic attack next week when Lawrence signs with Clemson.

JMO - If a guy thinks he is better than how he has been treated or that the new HC/staff will not let him play, he should leave. Otherwise you have the potential for team disunity. If the guy realizes he's not all that and is just happy to have the chance to participate with the team and may get another shot in the future, he should stay. QD strikes me as the former and not the later. If so, I agree with you Bass.

CJP would have sent signals to QD by now, especially if he has one or more QB recruits committing. QD's experience in Butch's mess of a system adds nothing to his prospects to win the job under CJP.
