His throwing shoulder was injured.
Was it injured for the entire year? I'm sure poor mechanics can cause issues with the shoulder. He consistently threw off of his back foot and floated way too many passes. I would see glimpses of what he could do when he would use good mechanics during a game but it was less than half of his throws. I like the kid and hope he succeeds but facts are facts.
Mariota is going through the same issues right now. Your throwing power comes from your legs. It is one of those things that it may take him a while to get it right but both are going to have to work hard to correct it.
Can someone help me out with a recommendation for good sports talk radio in Knoxville? I dont get enough Vols talk here in Nashville. Thanks! GBO!
I don't know if QD had any pain with his shoulder or not but if he did it would effect his foot work. Anyone that has ever had a throwing injury to their arm knows pain effects the bodies willingness to step into throws.
Also, its been said before but please dont tweet recruits. Good or bad.
Its weird and creepy for anyone over the age of 18, and most of you morans are.
