I wonder how many people fall into my category and lost interest in the NFL when the G.O.A.T. retired. I tried to follow his brother, but they were awful and I can not go for the state team due to SCAM being the Q.B..

I predict that Wednesday will look eerily similar to the early signing day. I predict a bunch of 180s on CBs and a name or two that leak out early in the day that shocks folks. This week feels so much like how that week felt, and posters are reacting exactly the same.

The redzone is amazing. But that's about the only way I watch it now. I hate commercials. And there are way to many prime time games now. I hate 8am London games but I may hate Thursday night games more. Neither are worth watching. And it's made the Sunday night and Monday night games watered down. So I watch a lot less but get way more out of it by sticking with the redzone channel.

The kneeling thing is a turnoff.

Another example of this is gonna happen in the NBA. This tmz style coverage of Lavar Ball and Lebron James and his antics will get old. I think there's a lot of young people who like the drama. After a while though it hurts your product.

When the actual game isn't what you are selling eventually people will tire of it.

I think people are fatigued with 24/7/365 NFL coverage as well.

It is a turnoff, but if the product was more entertaining then more people would get past that and watch. Even now, the kneeling is basically out of the news-cycle and not mentioned at all during games. But the product isn't good enough to make people want to watch.

NFL TV ratings 2017: Why viewership declined this season | SI.com

I thought that was a good article, it mentions how it still beats out the other top-rated cable shows during its time slot. And it also has more of the top 50 rated broadcasts of the year than in previous years when viewership was technically up.

Yeah we might strike out here with these top remaining recruits, other than Walker.

I hold out hope that ESPN being onsite means the coaches are confident we make noise next week. With that said, I don’t think we will know anything till NSD. ...yet somehow I keep checking Volnation

agree. can't remember the last time i actually watched sports center, or any of the talking head shows. i watch SEC now, some finebaum, and that's about it. college football live....

don't even watch game day really. i watch TN basketball, and most of the live CFB content, TN or not.

that's about it. most of it on SEC network.....

This is a great example of what I'm talking about.

ESPN has catered to the fringe fan. They make sport shows that are so drama filled that they can draw in people who otherwise would not watch.

The problem with that is that after a while they lose their original audience.

I would feel much better if you'd take your negative nancy attitude out of the RF. Thanks in advance. :hi:

It started as a joke but apparently you are tone deaf or at the very least have a humor deficiency. It might be best if you sit your wound up tail out, until next Thursday. Good day.

I think we get Walker as our last great player. All the other blue chips are trending elsewhere
