They haven't had this level of depth and talent that they're about to have either. Yes they've always been talented, but never to this degree. They're recruiting on Bama levels. Tennessee needs to be right at or close to that level if we want to consistently compete.

That's bull butter. You're acting like this is some mid tier school who had a little success in the past. This is Tennessee dude. Everyone knows the credentials this program has so I won't even begin to mention all of them. So if he gets one elite athlete to come here that's amazing? That's completely ridiculous.

Long term credentials yes, very impressive. Unfortunately we live in a “What have you done lately?” world, and that’s where we don’t look so impressive to these kids compared to Bama, UGA, OSU. Past 10 years we’ve had six seasons with a losing record! To get the caliber of players on campus this staff has is remarkable considering the time they have been on staff here. If they get the top guys that are in play, that is amazing. Agreed, it will take more than that in the future, but for this class, it’s very impressive.
