If you ever make it down to HHI, go to Dockside at Skull Creek. On the north end at the marina. The best for this area of the lowcountry IMO. Fresh South Carolina shrimp are so good. Add in the kielbasa, green and red peppers, onions, PM grits and a small swirl of barbecue sauce on top.

My next judging gig will be variations of Eggs Benedict. The Sunday brunches have many different lowcountry types. Tried a Filet (4 oz.) Benedict Sunday. That's now high on the list. My favorite still remains the Crab Cake so far.

Losing the battle of the waistline though. Got to get back to reality and work on that when we get home.

There’s a Dockside Restaurant in or near Beaufort, SC. Lived there for about 8 months, and Dockside had fantastic food!

Excited to get here but there’s still the chance he gets drafted in a few weeks, right?

Any MLB fans want to speculate on if he actually does or not?

Probably 2015

- Ranked coming into the season
- Predicted to finish 2nd in the East (finished T-2)
- Just looked up preseason bowl projections and the 2 I saw had us in the Outback, which we ended up playing in.

Don’t think we really overachieved, kind of did what was expected

I didn't realize we were thought that highly of.

Maybe 2006. Idk.

as i see all these predictions and ratings come out for the 2018 college football season, it got me thinking.

We as fans tend to always think the media and pundits underrate the vols. When was the last time we overachieved as a football program? Like we were predicted to go 6-6 but actually went 8-4 or something like that.

2018

My family is all still back east. We did Destin for years and years until it got wiped out.

Eventually we discovered Charleston. Heaven on Earth. The IOP connector is like a bridge to another dimension.

Amen, brother. Always known as The Holy City, probably for different reasons today. If we ever leave east TN, we will head to the lowcountry. Trying to work out a split - part of the year in each place. Need the grandkids to get a bit older since we sit with them a lot now.

FWIW, the Charleston area and lowcountry in general may be the GOAT for a lot of stuff.

Agreed. We're doing IOP in July. Haven't been in about 10 years. I go for work every now and then, and a couple weddings. But really looking forward to our week down there.

The one in Beaufort is still open. We ate there when we went to Fripp awhile back. It was really good. The old Dockside in Port Royal burned down and closed a couple years ago. Many of the locals loved that one. There is another one on nearby Lady's Island. This one added Skull Creek to its name so people would not confuse them. SERG Group bought the old large Charley's Crab restaurant facility, poured a bunch of money into the facility and changed it into one of the very best around. Great for families - they have a recreation area with corn hole, playground equipment, table tennis, fire pit, etc. Outdoor and indoor seating and bars. Beautiful view and open from 11 AM to close. The food we've had is just simply great. In addition to the seafood items they do steaks, chicken and all types of smoked barbecue as well. Been open a little over 6 months.

I'm getting hungry again - time to go!

Looks like another 4* offensive lineman is transferring from Bama. Their backup center.

Interested to see if we make a run here. Sounds like he is actually pretty good. Played as a backup center but missed last season with leg injury. could possibly bring him in at center and push johnson to guard and smith to T

Athlon top 130 starting QB of 2019 has Wil Grier at 1, Tua at 2.
Vols will face 5 of top 11 on that list! Funny, they had Cryst at 70 as starter for Vols...

Don't think he is a high enough prospect for the mlb to pay enough to take him away from us

Food, beach, golf, history, and I have gotten into their craft beer, too.

Great times.

Edit: I have had to take time off from golf because of 4 kids. But some day, I am going to make the trip down to Kiawah and spend the money to play the Ocean Course. Probably when I am old.

I’ve got a buddy there. We play it for $50.00 when we go down. I know it’s tough but someone has to do it.

regarding Scott and Warren, dont they have to try to make an attempt at obtaining a job.. I wonder if a reasonable salary is a part of that. Their deal with UF is pretty transparent on what UF is trying to do... seems suspect.

The way their contracts are worded, UT may have basis to go after them if they so choose.

Doubt they will but who knows.
