Call it bait all you want but it's a fact many coaches prefer their own guys over the previous coaches recruits. It's clear cJP isn't fond of anything attached to Jones. Its the reason I don't expect JG to be our QB against West Virginia.

Reading the latest Otey, Washington, and Knox updates and it doesn't sound like we might get any of them. Which wouldn't be the end of the world since we're in on some talented GA and NC kids.

While I naturally root for "home state" kids, I'm not hung up on it. Only TN prospect I'd be genuinely disappointed not to land at this point is Wilhoite.

I think we get Woody. Staff would take him imo. Otey would prob jump if we would take. Knox is all about osu if he can get in

Joe DiP didn't like Davenport. He looked like he was sucking a lemon whenever he was near her-- and she probably felt the same about him. But the heart of her firing had nothing to do with football-- it's the outsourcing. The votes were in line until she bucked them and killed a deal that would have been very profitable to a select group and their business associates. You can bet the new board and new president will revisit outsourcing, with the full support of the Interim Chancellor. Business interests will once again be aligned with Davenport gone.

Politics and money. Always.

All of those pale in comparison to the suffering of citizens of third-world countries, but each suffered/is suffering nonetheless.

And, when compared to others in the universe of "people who are fans of any specific NCAA football team", those of us who are fans of the University of Tennessee football team have suffered more than most others in that universe over the past decade.

I agree with you on this. I'm just saying I disagree with the poster for criticizing the poster (I really try not to remember names of who posted what so as not to hold it personally against someone....it's just opinions) who tried to put things in perspective by talking about how little most of us really suffer, or not. I mean, we really can make sports too influential on our mood and state of mind at times.

Just an update for everyone who followed. First I wanna say thank you to everyone who had supported me when I posted the GoFundMe a while back. I just wanted to stop by and let you guys know I hired a lawyer a while back and submitted a ton of different things and we requested an advanced hearing for temporary custody. That court date is actually tomorrow. Wish me luck! Itll probably be a while before everything is concluded but tomorrow is a huge step. Also I was able to get a no contact between her boyfriend and BOTH of my kids. And since they live together and share a vehicle I have had the kids a lot more lately. I also stepped down from my management job and back into an hourly position in order to have more time off to watch them.
