If we have a decent pass rush, given the talent and coaches we have, we will beat WV and Mizzou. We have the talent and depth (unproven) in the secondary. Just my thoughts.

Grier threw four interceptions, and his streak of seven straight 300-yard passing games ended. He finished 20 of 42 for 285 yards and two TDs.
In winning its fourth straight, Oklahoma State (7-1, 4-1 Big 12) scored four touchdowns following West Virginia turnovers, and the Mountaineers couldn't come back from their biggest deficit of the season.
"I can't say enough about the defense and their ability to make plays," Gundy said. "We got some pressure on the quarterback and forced some overthrows."
West Virginia (5-3, 3-2) entered the game fifth in total offense in the nation and was limited to 347 yards, 192 under its average.
"It was pretty clear and evident to me that they were more physical than us," West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen said. "Offensively and defensively both I thought they dominated up front and when that happens, it's going to be tough."

Agreed, and I think that they will overlook us because we were so bad last year. WVU will, anyway. We might be playing well enough by the time we get to the Mizzou game that they won't be able to overlook us.
Mizzou is the team i have The most questions about. They have the best QB in the east and they historically have good pass rushers. So i think they could be pretty good. But Dooley could be a flop at OC too.

Dooley is a disaster at relationships -recruits, hs coaches, players and a disaster at discipline/earning respect. Yet,
despite this, the Dooley era produced points and lots of them. Any form of defense and his record looks completely different.
If he schemes and calls plays ONLY, he may, unfortunately, surprise us.

I don't understand why he gets so much credit for the offense when his biggest contribution was letting Chaney run it without interfering.
I realize he had some input into the offensive game plan, but Chaney was a huge part of our offensive success. He also inherited a pretty solid O-line and Bray was very talented. I will believe it when I see it with Dooley as an OC.
