I love Banks attitude and energy but he is a risk with his fumble problems. We kill ourselves with silly penalties we can't afford to lose fumbles on top of that if we are going to have a chance to get 6 wins.
You do know we have an off-season, right? He can develop AND be productive at another position NOW.
That isn't ideal and you know it. Besides many here just a week ago were expecting Banks to be a factor after one week at LB. That wasn't realistic but helping sometime this season might be if he could get some consistent Reps there. This week is the perfect time for that.
Really wish Banks could find a place and stick. Would be a great week to get plenty of reps at LB if that's where he ends up.
Wish this week could be more about the future than this game.
So who do we play at RB then since the rest of them are banged up? Its also a good week to rest injured players. We should just pull a Make-A-Wish kid out of the stands to play RB so Banks can get in 15 plays at LB imo. That isn't ideal and you know it. Maybe some double duty. Definitely think need to rest Chandler. That isn't ideal and you know it. Besides many here just a week ago were expecting Banks to be a factor after one week at LB. I am starting to wonder if there is a specific purpose that we started to get Banks some reps at LB. I think the coaches are looking ahead to the Kentucky game and wondering how will they contain the QB when he scrambles. I’m wondering if they are going to use banks in obvious passing situations as a spy for the QB.Really wish Banks could find a place and stick. I don't think there will be any obvious passing situations in that game when you consider how we got ran on last week and I've seen Kentucky win a game with the QB attempting 9 passes this year lolI am starting to wonder if there is a specific purpose that we started to get Banks some reps at LB. It's Charlotte. IDT Pruitt is worried that a Banks fumble will cost us the game. Rest Chandler & Jordan, then bring them back for the SEC games.
Every now and then this pops up. Do you really form your rationale based on what’s posted HERE? I know if we’re counting on him this season as a linebacker, then it’s not “ideal”! There’s four games left, dude. Three against SEC teams. He’ll be a linebacker next year, what he would learn against Charlotte wasnt going to have him SEC ready. That isn't ideal and you know it. You ASSUME that he would be in the wrong place.
WE KNOW that 34 and 23 can do nothing even when they are in the right place.....I like my chances with the new guy....
