I’ve had daily headaches & migraines my entire life & goody’s is the only thing that’s ever worked. I take at least one a day. No telling what it’s doing to my stomach.

I too have suffered the same lifelong affliction. I have found that Xanax and Wild Turkey does the trick for me. Not so much that it makes the headache go away, I just don't care that I have one.

Is the alternative to continue to forcefit a pocket QB into a read option spread with the same passive blocking scheme that Jones ran until you can recruit and develop an SEC OLine and power back?
The alternative is to adapt your offense to your personnel. Continuing to run the ball between the tackles despite not having the line or the running backs to pull that off is as asinine as what you mentioned in your post. There are other alternatives.

I was allergic to Maxalt also. I’m telling you dude I’ve had brutal luck with migraine medicines Lol

I’ve had migraines since I was a kid and remember getting off the school bus and going straight to bed with them. Can be debilitating and miserable. If you’ve exhausted all med options, you should consider going to a chiropractor.

Yep exactly. I can deal with the headaches most days but when a legit migraine hits its absolute misery. My line of work also decreases my options on what I can & cant take. Oh well. In the grand scheme of things it could be a whooolleeee lot worse.

A few people have mentioned chiropractor I’ll definitely look into it.

I agree a good coach adapts his scheme to fit his players/talent, but I sort of feel there are tough circumstances at play here. When OLine is this much of a liability, I would imagine its tough to scheme around without just totally changing the system you want to run and recruit to.

The quote from Hubbs that @Ron Swanson posted last night sounds like this is more of a “search” than I assumed.

I thought we’d have this thing wrapped up pretty quickly but I guess not.

You really think so?
I think he could bring a lot of experience and help this staff a lot.

I think most of us can agree that Helton has a poor year. And most of us were expecting him to be fired.

So for me it seems really odd that a school would want him for their head coach.

They must know something that we don’t.

Normally a coordinator gets let go and they take an assistant role like QB coach. They don’t normally slide into another coordinator role and they certainly don’t get an upgrade to head coach.

They must feel CJP really held him back.

That raises a red flag for me.

I really hope that he doesn’t get in his own way and micromanage the offense so much that it can’t be successful.

That is my biggest fear.

He was the OC under Brohm at WKU and had really good success according to articles. So I am guessing there was already a good relationship in place there.
