Saying it this way is a lot better and on same page. Maybe you didn't notice it but you had people jumping on board the Pruitt is going to ruin himself and get in his own way train for no reason

That's all I've ever said. Other posters say other things and somehow it gets tracked back to me. No, I haven't backread all the pages and I have some posters on ignore, so I don't know all that was said... but I don't see how I'm responsible for tangential thoughtlines.

I recommend everyone take any and all info/speculation put out there during this search with a grain of salt but, for those who might be new here, here are a few posters who have proven to either pass along reliable info or actually have it:

@HankHill (like his opinions or not, he called his shot last offseason and was as reliable with info as anyone)
@LA Vol (Reliable, consistent info bringer)
@Ron Swanson (bringer of all things TOS)
@Atlanta VOL (I will bear hug this person, and maybe fight back a tear or two, if I ever meet them)
@matts42012 (oldie but a goodie)
@Freak (I mean...it's his site, so...)

People NOT to trust:

Anyone who just joined the site and claims to have inside info...they're all trolls. Every. Single. One.

Anyone who doesn't drink coffee. They're not to be trusted. Ever.
Feel like this needs to be restated.

Add anyone who you feel is appropriate...

Man, Freeze could happen. I fear the backlash. But dang our offense would be legit
Well I get a lot of folks believing CJP wants to pound the rock and dominate the trenches, but dominating the trenches is necessary in the SEC whether you are Bama or Arkansas. Saban was portrayed for the longest as the same but he frequently said, "I've always told them to open up the offense."

My closing argument against this "thought pattern" is this:

If CJP were conservative with his purposed offensive mindset, then why did he onside kick so many times? I believe CJP is a gunslinger and wants a balanced attack that can move the ball at will, no matter how it gets done.

Power Run does mean only Power-I formations with jumbo tight ends. Bama is still power run. The Rams are definitely still power run. Kiffin is without a doubt power run. Damn near every great offense ever is power run. Not being able to run the football is a fatal error and ESPECIALLY so in CFB and the SEC. I don’t want an offense that requires a high caliber QB, or a running QB even - Malzahn’s offense goes from legendary to piss depending on if he has a star QB. Pruitt knows this.

Saban is only just now getting his first true NFL caliber QB and yet how many Championships has he won in the last decade? And how many stud QBs did Mark Richt have at UGA and never win the big one? Geezus how many yards did Aaron Murray throw for?? Doesn’t even matter!

Pruitt wants a top 10 rushing offense first and foremost. Dominate in the run game and QBs like JG will look like superstars bc of all the wide open play action deep bomb TDs we’ll let loose.

Y’all people acting like if we don’t have a next level 1st Class cutting edge Sean McVay offense were going to be running the Nebraska Triple Option. Newsflash it’s 2018 OCs call run AND pass plays these days.

All i gotta say is a dual threat QB can mask a lot of problems on offense. JG is absolutely not one.
100% agreed and 100% believe that is not the type of offense Pruitt wishes to have. He wants a damn good O regardless of the QB. Give me a game manager QB and a great running attack. We get that with Pruitt’s D we’ll be competing with everybody. We start competing with everybody, Pruitt will get himself a stud QB. Hell he might already be bringing in one in Bailey.

Nah. I don't want a UGA 2.0 conservative offense.
Give me a legit dual threat Tua qb. The one that can beat the nation with one good leg.

Yes, and Hurts has done pretty well for himself as well. He has led championship teams.

Obviously, Hurts has/had a great supporting cast, but he did alright. Who knows what he would be able to do for us, but he's not exactly hot garbage. He just got beat out by a Heisman Trophy winner.

That is my opinion. Everyone has a right to theirs.
Wasn't really talking about Hurts. I would be glad if he came here. I just think Dobbs was a great QB and leader for us.
