Congrats. The regional life isn’t so bad anymore, and if that guaranteed pipeline to American is true you’ll be set.
I agree 100% with all of this. Good post.i think the most telling thing about that blurb you posted was the fact it's not lost on Pruitt how big of a hire this is. i think that's important, and good, for how this will be handled ultimately. i think he wants to hire somebody that he can turn the offense over to, and basically walk away so he can manage the program, and spend more time with the defense, cause that's what he wants to do.
i think it annoyed the crap out of him that he felt he needed to get involved in the offense at all. had to bring tyson out of the press box. had to get involved in drills. tells me that he at least wasn't satisfied with the way he was managing the offense at times.
eithier way, i think it's also important that we have a good teacher as OC. and we all know Freeze's past issues, but i've watched a couple of those "coaching session" broadcasts of big games on ESPN...and Hugh has been a part of a couple of them, and it's pretty apparent the guy knows his stuff, just listening to him talk football, breaking down the game they're watching, with 4-5 other coaches.
kick the tires on Freeze definitely. but i'm not gonna be mad if it's Chip Lindsey. and i think if i had my pick, it'd probably be a close one between Enos and Freeze.
That's all I've ever said. Other posters say other things and somehow it gets tracked back to me. No, I haven't backread all the pages and I have some posters on ignore, so I don't know all that was said... but I don't see how I'm responsible for tangential thoughtlines.
Maybe just maybe our OL and QB and TEs held back offense not the HC. Amazing how people literally think we can judge without a shadow of doubt his philosophy based on yr 1. There wasn't anything wrong with the scheme. There was an execution and talent problem.
Come on now, if I was set off, you'd know it.
I'm just enjoying the coaching search... right up until we hire the worst possible candidate. lol.
Yep exactly. I can deal with the headaches most days but when a legit migraine hits its absolute misery. My line of work also decreases my options on what I can & cant take. Oh well. In the grand scheme of things it could be a whooolleeee lot worse.
A few people have mentioned chiropractor I’ll definitely look into it.
Some of you guys can keep complaining and throwing out the lame "that'll be $9.99" stuff but he's reporting what he knows, what he can share and when, and that info changes. Recruiting is fluid. Coaching searches are fluid. Fact is, he's more connected than anyone around this program, he's been covering UT for decades, simply the best there is. And if you've paid any attention over the years you'd know that is a fact.
