Withrow on Midday 180 had a thought of that Linsey's offense was too predictable for Pruitt's taste (I can't remember if he sais someone told him this or if it was an original thought). That is why Pruitt was calling out Auburn's offensive plays before hand during the game. This would make sense to me.Good stuff man!..but I was referring to specific details as to why he cooled on his friend Lindsey,we may never hear about those details but it’s very interesting.thank you for looking that up though![]()
I don't think it will be any more than a press release. They don't have to be in town for that. No parading him out for a press conference.Could it be as simple as they already have somebody hired and are just waiting on Phil and JP to get in off the road to announce it? Fulmer is in NYC at the moment and JP is recruiting and they are letting the "PR" machine work until they get back.

but what was known is that his former players thought he was a total dickhead, a martinet, and that he coached players to injure opponents, and he had a shatty 500 record at Rutgers. I mean win 6 out of 10 games at least before u trot someone the f out
Interesting info... I can only think of one school that has a lock down on instate talent, and that is LSU. Bama and Auburn do well with instate players as well.I was looking at the top 100 and noticed Clemson kept popping up all over the country. I clicked on Andrew Booth (who would have been such a steal I think) and looked at their recruiting class. I saw the first guy from the state of SC and I clicked on him and noticed he was ranked #11 in the state. Once I saw the rest of the state ranking, I noticed that Clemson was nowhere in the first ten prospects for the state of SC. I decided to do this checking on quite a few other states with very strong state schools: OSU in Ohio (2 recruits in the top 10 of the state), UM in Michigan (1 recruit in the top 10 of the state), PSU in Pennsylvania (1 recruit in the top 10 of the state), OU in Oklahoma (1 recruit in the top 10 of the state), UGA in Georgia (2 recruits in the top 10 of the state) and finally and most important UF in Florida (1 recruit in the top 20 of the state. It leads me to wonder a few things: that Tennessee might be turning into a battleground state that you have to fight for every recruit within the Top 10 of the state with other powerhouse programs, we might have recruited heavily in state and things didn't turn out so well, or we have adopted a new philosophy of recruiting the best played at the position regardless of the geographic location. I trust in CJP in coaching, and in recruiting and I will trust his decision whomever the new OC is...

If it was a problem it would have came up when he was a HC at Ole Miss, don't you think?
My guess is that if Freeze falls through, Sark could be a name that pops up after he's let go by the Falcons in the coming weeks (which I would guess is likely after the struggles they've had this season).Posing a hypothetical here, if any OC, whether employed or not, or former head coach was available to be our OC, who would you want? NFL, as well.
