I listened to Swain this morning and while Chris Low didn’t outright say Fulmer blocked it he definitely danced around it a lot. It really made it sound like Phil was not on board. Hinted at past title 9 stuff and comfort level etc as all contributing factors.

And that’s perfectly fine. But you have to remember it’s not just Pruitt and a candidate that can talk. It’s people from Tennessee, people from said candidates staff/corner, agents etc. everybody talks. There just isn’t anything out there on anyone else for me to really think that there was a true “plan b, c, or whatever”.

So you think Pruitt just wanted one guy and was oblivious to how it would go over or if there would be any blowback or snags and that's it, end of candidates or his list? That lap dance will be...$200 baby.

No. I know we talked to at least 4 people (Lindsey, Enos, Drinkwitz, sarkisian) beyond freeze. But I think it’s shown that freeze is/was the top target for Pruitt or more candidates would have ANYTHING but “they have spoken”.

Title 9 has been tossed about in a couple of spaces.

Honestly news today makes me happy because we can move on. I do hope Bama takes Freeze and Pruitt can sell Enos (of candidates mentioned) or I hope we hear about some good new candidates.

Don't know if this was posted but this was from Hubbs last night

Had Tennessee offered this weekend or yesterday, I think Freeze is in orange. Tonight, Alabama is open and Tennessee has slow played him for 2-3 days. So I would think his pecking order has probably changed.

***not an insider disclaimer*** but i did hear from someone who is good friends with a big booster that this was blocked by Fulmer as some are saying... I saw the message screen shots and he was unhappy with Fulmer's actions to say the least. unreal. i honestly thought he'd be willing to do what needed to be done to win big here... talk about a deflating realization.
