It's not you I was responding to. So many people group Missouri in there and I don't get it. Also, I believe since they've been in the SEC they have been in the championship game at least twice and have won more than they've lost something that generally can't be said about UK and Vandy.

25-23, 2 SEC East titles (2013 & 2014)

Their yearly west opponent is Arkansas

The idea is not that Butch would have done anything, it is that if UT had hired a real coach after Fulmer, that kids like these and other elites would be winning big at UT.

The Kiffin, Dooley and Butch trifecta are why we are relegated to the trash heap.
Clemson began eating our carcass when Kiffin let Tajh Boyd go to them.

The possible good news with Sark/Monken is Bucs likely are hiring Arians who is his own play caller. Jets appear to be on the way to hiring McCarthy who is his own play caller. kingsbury looks like a real possibility at Arizona; again his own play caller. Browns likely keeping Kitchens as OC. A lot of these spots getting wrapped up with HCs who will call their own plays.

Sark and Monken are two guys that need to be calling plays whereever they go.

I will never understand why people wallow in things like this that they cannot change. Instead be happy that Bama got skulldragged across the bay area and we have a great class coming in and a hungry coach. I mean I had a chance to bang the homecoming queen and I didn't. Big deal, I've done pretty damn well for myself. Let. the. past. go. That means let Kiffin go. Let Dooley go. Let Currie and Hart and Hamilton go. Let CBJ go. Think of it as a baptism, its a new year, can we all just look ahead?

I too refuse to dwell on what might have been.

What about the Bengals. He interviewed there as well.

No doubt. Would've taken a year or two for him to shine here for sure. I expect our OL to be much better and I'll think we'll be a pretty good team in 2020 but not where Clemson is. Of course, had the intern got the players to TN he should have, those players he was playing with last night would've been in Knoxville.
Then he would still be here. Be careful what you wish for.
