Question on Chaney....
Isn’t there a lot of criticism of how under used their TE, Mecole Hardman, and that 5 Star transfer from Cal was?
Fair or nah?
It's funny how we all stress stability and know the importance of it after our last decade and seeing what Clemson has done. And seeing how instability can even affect a machine like bama. But still we are clamoring for 2 or even 3 more coaches to be replaced. I get the whole Tee for Weinke thing because even though I don't think Weinke's doing bad at all we all know and love Tee. But I don't even want Pittman really. At that point we'd be replacing over half our offensive staff. And in case you haven't noticed, Friend has been getting some really good OL to sign with us. And IMO did a good job with a bad situation last year. I don't think Pittman would be enough of an upgrade to offset the loss of someone else on our staff.

Can any of you answer any of these. Fyi alphabetic order so as not to offend anyone.
Do you guys think we get an OC this week?
Is it likely to be a guy we've already discussed or has been reported?
Will it involve promoting an internal guy to OC and hiring an external position coach?
Like like like like and like some more! I mentioned this a few weeks ago that I was wondering if something wasn’t right in Athens, dating back to when they lost a few high profile commitments within a couple of days. I wonder if there is any chance Kirby might be considering jumping to the NFL?There are rumblings that things are not so good in Georgia rite now.
I’ve heard that the coaching atmosphere is pretty toxic down there rite now.
Expect more turnover with Coaches and transfers.
Was told that a couple of their signees are contemplating asking for a release.
I know a lot of Georgia fans were snickering at the news Tuesday night. They’re thinking the Bulldogs just got rid of damaged goods. But there isn’t a position more heavily criticized in football than an offensive coordinator. Likewise, Chaney had drawn more than his share of ire for play-calling and substitutions the last two years.
But Chaney did some good work at Georgia, and that shouldn’t be dismissed. Coordinators should always be judged on bottom-line production, and that’s yards and points and third-down conversions and red-zone scoring percentages and the like. In that regard, Chaney did a very good job at Georgia. The Bulldogs were first in rushing, second in scoring and third in total offense this past season. Their 39 points per game scoring average was the second-highest in school history. And they got a little better each year under his watch.
yes, I believe we will get an OC this week.
Sorry my friend. I've been in South Florida since Saturday and have spent very little time on the boards. Playing a lot of golf. Return to Tennessee on Saturday.
Look for Tee to join staff fairly soon. Not sure we get things worked out on Pittman but certain Jim will try.
