Damn I hate this. The Wizzard was my first Hero!
can some one smarter then me do the rewind moment /post to see if i was mistaken.
As a little kid I would listen to John Ward call basketball games in my room. Had a nerf goal hanging on back of the door. Would pretend I was Tony White and make shots as Ward was calling the game.
Tony White with a 3 point line would be have posted some huge numbers
Best of luck to you and your family.@engineerVOL and @volatil
Won't put everyone else through reading my stuff again but here's my posts from the conversation where I told everyone not long ago. And thanks guys.
ok I agree. my wording was way off.. I do agree..but I do remember you saying this may be his down fall and thats why I asked your op.There were lots of discussions here over the last month. Many of them hypothetical in nature.
The closest I came to posting what you said was that the delay in the hire was setting Pruitt up for potenial criticism if it wasn't a sexy hire. I also pointed out that the success of the hire woudnt be know for two years.
So no I never said what you posted
The series kind of drags with books 7-9, IMO.
But what Jordan and Martin do is different enough that they really shouldn’t be compared too much in anything other than their influence and impact.
GRRM’s work is better compared to Patrick Rothfuss’. And IMO Rothfuss is the much more talented writer, but GRRM might be a better storyteller.
Oh Man, my all-time favorite basketball Vol. I did the same thing in my living room with the nerf hoop, volatil. Even had a poster from the Sentinal with White holding a basketball, a magic wand and wearing a top hat, "The Wizard". Yeah...I worry about him finishing also. Sanderson finished the WoT series with help from Jordans wife Harriet, who was also Jordans editor IIRC, directly from Jordans notes. He did an absolutely awesome job wrapping up the hundreds of storylines in what he called a "Labor of Love" as he was a huge WoT fan himself.Thanks. So Brandon Sanderson finished it, I assume ? U know, I'm a little afraid GRRM doesn't finish that last book, "A Dream of Spring". Well, I think that's the early title for it
