I read the first 10 books of TWOT few years back and still haven't gotten around to finishing it. Loved it.

Finish it. It's worth it. Brandon Sanderson does a fantastic job with it. Sanderson also has other series that are incredible.

I didn't, but I read them after season 1 of the show, so there were plenty of surprises. I think that helps, because there are plenty of places where it got slow. Although, the same thing rehashed from different points of view was sometimes interesting, it was also like, "I already know this and this P.O.V. is telling me nothing new". So if TWOT is better, I wanna check it out. What's it stand for ? Almost sounds dirty. Sanderson wrote it ? What's his first name ?

The stormight archives series by Sanderson is a really good series.

What would you say is Sanderson's best series? I enjoyed what he did finishing out TWoT for sure. Not just anybody can follow a legend like Robert Jordan and I think he did about as good as one could do.

My guy Chaney is a pass happy fella, but if he has a horse or 2 he will definitely run them. Guys this big fella named Jim Chaney knows offense. What many don't know is that the reason Kirby and CJP hired Chaney id because Lil Lane suggested it to both of them. Guys i can't begin to elaborate on how much i learned from the guy doing film study in his old office. He was amazed and ready to offer me a GA job when seeing and testing my knowedge likewise. Only thing was i decided to make 2 babies within a 3 yr period and momma wasn't going for the part time daddy and football coach for a husband LOL

The series kind of drags with books 7-9, IMO.

But what Jordan and Martin do is different enough that they really shouldn’t be compared too much in anything other than their influence and impact.

GRRM’s work is better compared to Patrick Rothfuss’. And IMO Rothfuss is the much more talented writer, but GRRM might be a better storyteller.

I love Rothfuss.
