Our 2 biggest concerns are OL and DL, along with S&C....in the SEC. If any rival had these as their biggest concerns we'd be laughing pretty hard at calls for 10 wins. Objectively, those are major hurdles.

I will take 8 wins and a decent BOWL win and the in 20 be able to compete against the Dawgs FOR THE EAST.

In my opinion (and I realize this is a bias opinion) about half of those turn-overs should have been fouls, they were swatting our hands more than two bros on National High-Five day

Missed the game, were they actually hitting our hands? Those should be fouls. Reaching isn't a foul, but if they hit body it sure is. Auburn plays like Memphis, lots of reaching.

Poll shows how generational it is also. Curious how 8-17 YOs would poll. Considering Lebron may play up to 7 more years, the younger crowd will have a large influence on this debate decades from now.

Also interesting how not a SINGLE person voted for Wilt from the youngest demo, 13.5% of 60+ did. I'd bet 20 years ago Wilt had a more significant portion of the votes.

I've always thought the debate is sorta silly, so many ways to bring pros and cons to each argument. They are both elite, but played at different times, had massively different teams around them, etc.

I don't think there is enough separation of talent between Turner/Bowden/Kyle that they dominate that many more minutes than Fulkerson/Walker/Pons/Jalen.

I think your are dead-on with Fulky. Johnson isn't that far behind a struggling Lamonte either (though if it's the last 10 minutes, I definitely want Turner in and I trust his defense more). The other 2 appear to be significant drop-offs though. Subbing Pons for Bowden is -8.6 PER. Walker for Alexander is -11.4 PER.

I think the one sentence on TOS article is very telling about strength and conditioning: "They’re still not nearly where they need to be as a team, but for the first offseason in a while, the Vols didn’t take a step back, either."

Those predicting double digit wins next season, might want to pump the brakes. I'm excited to think we are making progress, but we likely don't get 10 wins until we get where we need to be in strength and conditioning.

It's iffy that they'll even beat UCLA, but even if they do, I doubt taking a second round asskicking from Maryland does her any favors. I don't know what all might go into a firing decision but I don't think a brief NCAAT appearance will factor into it.

I'm glad we got in, just to preserve some semblance of proper order in the universe.
