Is ut baseball actually bigger than wbb? I've always had football, mbb, wbb as the big 3 sports, far and away. Never seen a ut baseball shirt being worn, but plenty plenty of lady vols gear.

I was wearing one earlier actually lol. Baseball definitely my #3 for UT sports.

Not in the preseason. After the first week against Georgia Tech we broke into the top 25. Got a lot of projections of 6-6 or worse.

Edit: 3 of the 4 services had at 25 or 24. Don’t remember if they dropped us after Georgia Tech.

Got sucked into a YouTube spiral and ended up watching the Taxslayer bowl vs Iowa. Man, having a running quarterback like Dobbs was a delight to watch. Must have been hell for opponents to watch though. Dobbs made something out of nothing so many times. He was something else!

The great Phil Steele did. And a few others. Remember, UF had just won the East in 2 consecutive years with a well rated QB coming up. Of course it all went to shiz in 2017, but the talent was obviously there.

I could only find 247 written evaluations on 6 of our defensive linemen so I made a depth chart with just those guys.

The NFL scouts (as you know) are pretty good at judging talent, regardless of wins/losses. They looked at our entire group and said "hard pass". That's reality.

TN will also need top notch recruiting. Mullen is a great coach but he is suited for a place like UF with ridiculous in state talent.

Out of the 25 UF commitments for 2019, 15 are from Florida. Repeated for emphasis: 15 of 25.
He's not getting that at TN.

I was mainly just giving bass a little barb and i like Mullen so a little bonus for me on that one.

I’ll akways believe that anyone with half a brain could pull top 15 classes here which i think is good enough to have a very successful tenure. Mullen, leach, Pruitt, Herman Boone, red beoyoue... all in the same boat for me there.

I think he’s talking about 2017, which is a ridiculous point considering Vegas had their o/u at 8 wins. Who cares if some random journalist had them as a playoff dark horse. UT’s o/u was 7.5 that year iirc

Yea i don’t remember anyone saying UF could push for a national title the year Mullen was hired.

They were all too busy drooling over Furby to even think of another team in the east.
